The 1500 kcal diet is one of the best slimming diets. It allows you to lose a few extra pounds in a relatively short time, without compromising your health. Although the amount of calories consumed is reduced, it is not a drastic limit. A 1500 kcal diet can certainly be called a balanced diet: it gives the body what it needs to function properly.

The 1500 kcal diet does not limit us as much as other diets that reduce the amount of calories consumed. It allows for virtually any selection of products, as long as you do not exceed the number of calories consumed per day. At the same time, 1500 kcal is not a very low sum, you can eat so as to be full and during the day you will not feel the use of a rigorous diet. The 1500 kcal diet is simply not such a diet: it is balanced, good for health.

Of course, people who previously consumed much more calories due to their overweight or obesity may feel the difference in their diet in the first few days after applying the 1500 kcal diet. However, the feeling of hunger during the day should pass after about a week of using the new diet.

What can you eat on a 1500 kcal diet? Here is a sample menu and a list of dishes for a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Breakfast and Dinner: oat flakes with 0,5% milk, a glass of cocoa, homogenized cheese, natural yoghurt, fruit, vegetables, scrambled eggs, soft-boiled egg, wheat bran and others…
  • Dinner: fried eggs, broccoli, vegetable salads, salads, chicken breast, turkey breast, fish, seafood, brown rice, groats, white rice, egg paste, curd paste and others…

As you can see, the 1500 kcal diet does not limit us as to the choice of products to consume. When following a diet, it is better to choose lean meat and cold meats, limit white bread, sweets and sweet, carbonated drinks. It is the consumption of these products that provides our body with too much energy, which, unable to be used, is accumulated in the body in the form of adipose tissue.

Rules for using the 1500 kcal diet

  1. It is better to eat more often, but smaller portions;
  2. The last meal should be eaten about 3 hours before bedtime;
  3. When it comes to drinks, it is worth choosing mineral water, tea or herbs;
  4. Products that are less processed and unfried are less caloric.

Remember also that breakfast should contain the most calories of all meals eaten during the day. It is this meal that is supposed to give us strength for the next coming hours, enliven us at work, give us energy to act and learn. Subsequent meals should be less caloric, and the dinner itself should be the least caloric. A 1500 kcal diet certainly allows you to lead a healthy lifestyle.
