“The year of some kind of cattle is coming again, but you really wanted to live like a human being!” To live the next year as a human being, you need to draw the right conclusions based on the results of the outgoing year. We tell you what fifteen questions help to sum up.
Question number 1
What do I know for sure?
One of my favorite questions, which I often asked in interviews with entrepreneurs, artists and artists, was: “Based on your life experience, what do you know exactly about in life?” And he baffled the majority. Every year, the certainty that one can know exactly about this world becomes less and less.
Question number 2
Three major wins in a year
It is imperative to record on paper your achievements for the year. Usually, after a while, it is much easier for us to remember our failures than our victories.
Question number 3
Biggest bummer of the year (and what it taught me)
“If you fell, this does not mean that you are going the wrong way,” says wisdom. Breakdowns, mistakes and disappointments make us stronger and teach us something. And what did the main bummer of the year teach you?
Question number 4
What is the hardest decision I made?
This year I realized that, fortunately, I don’t know anything about really difficult decisions. It happened after I met a father whose one-year-old child is very sick. He said, “Once I watched him suffer. And I thought that maybe the most correct solution would be to alleviate his plight by covering him with a pillow during an attack. What do you know about complex decisions?
Question number 5
Was there anything this year that I couldn’t even think of a couple of years ago?
If you ask this question, you will find that this year you have something that you could not even dream of a few years ago. Mark this fact at the end of the year. It’s inspiring!
Question number 6
What skill did I learn this year? What have I implemented into my life?
This year I received a massage therapist certificate. And now I call myself a “masseur-writer”. It was one of the most important investments of the year because the massage lessons helped make my brain more plastic. Write here what have you learned this year? What habits have you adopted?
Question number 7
How have values changed?
I call this question “Reassessment of the Year”. How have priorities changed? What has become more valuable this year? For example, a year ago I was not so much interested in my health. And this year, health issues have come to the fore.
Question number 8
Finance. How much did I earn this year?
It is also very important to track your financial level in specific numbers. How many sources of income did you have this year? What was the average salary? What is the maximum salary?
Question number 9
Travels. Where have I been?
Oh what a nice question! What countries and places have you visited this year? Although some, of course, say that they know how to travel without leaving home. I still, apparently, am not at such a spiritual level to travel, looking out the window.
Question number 10
Return of the year. What came back to life?
There are things, people, ideas, events that come and go from life. I have this year returned the idea of the book, invented 15 years ago. And running has returned to my life.
Question number 11
Loss of the year. What has passed away?
And here, on the contrary, it is necessary to write what was lost.
Question number 12
What new people have appeared?
Take note of all the important new people who have brightened up the past year with their arrival. New friends? Colleagues? Beloved?
Questions #13
Couples and no more couples of the year
Here write down the love couples that formed this year, and those that broke up. This is always interesting to follow!
Question number 14
Oxymoron of the Year
Here I usually write about paradoxical events. These are the things you can ask, “How could this happen?” For example, this year my most scattered and disorganized friend became the organizer of a big event. And by the way, he had a good time!
Question number 15
Keynote of the Year
Write what you thought about most often this year, what the year was dedicated to. For example, I tried to figure out what it is to love yourself.
