15 most beautiful flight attendants of Yekaterinburg: photos, details

27-year-old Yulia Yamalova from Yekaterinburg became the second vice-miss at the All-Russian competition of flight attendants! Congratulations! Woman`s Day will show what other beauties fly in the sky over the Urals!

– I have been working for Ural Airlines for 5 years, two of them as a senior flight attendant. I really like this position, because I am a teacher by spirit and education, I can prompt, explain many times. I like to try myself in new areas, for example, I recently completed courses in public speaking and rhetoric. I also like to ride a bike, run, lead an active lifestyle. My hobby is psychology, and when I am at work, I am interested in observing how people behave.

I dream of going to a theater institute, becoming a TV presenter, taking vocals, conquering Tibet! And, of course, become the best wife and mother!

– My track record is quite diverse: I worked as a jeweler, a nanny in a kindergarten, a fitness instructor, I had my own dance studio where I taught pole dance and other areas … I am interested in trying myself in different fields of activity. Once again, I got overwhelmed by the desire to try something new in 2013. I thought: why not become a flight attendant? I had an idea of this profession from the films: romance, beautiful shape, takeoff, the sky, handsome pilots … I ran to Ural Airlines in the morning, filled out a questionnaire, and later I was invited to the commission. Then – waiting, and the verdict is “accepted.”

The romance of the profession is acutely felt at first: from the greatness of the plane, the endless sky, the constant change of hotels, the opportunity to walk in different cities and meet new people. But the reality is that the docking time between flights is often enough just to “stick out your nose” and breathe in the air of the sea, French bread or malt!

The most difficult thing in this work for me, perhaps, is working with people. Passengers are different: friendly, calm and inadequate in their behavior or requests. Someone demands to call themselves “lord, bunny or just lord”, someone asks to mix “tomato-apple-orange juice”, the third persuades “to fly faster” or “air the plane” …

The flight attendant needs to be flexible and adaptable. The work taught me to control myself, to be collected and to control emotions. Indeed, in an emergency situation, passengers expect decisions and a quick response from the flight attendants.

During one of the flights, an emergency situation occurred: an electronic cigarette in the pocket of the back of the chair caught fire, smoke and a burning smell appeared. The panic began. In such situations, we act according to instructions, keeping a “cold mind”, and nothing else! Yes, the work of a flight attendant is not devoid of romance, but it is based on responsibility, attentiveness and hard work.

– Since childhood, I wanted to be a flight attendant. My grandfather was a pilot. When I was born, he said: “Another stewardess was born!” While I was growing up, I was constantly reminded of this, of course, it caught fire. She graduated from high school and found out that there is a set of flight attendants for Ural Airlines.

On the courses, you need to learn emergency rescue training, service, medicine, aircraft design, cargo transportation, how to handle food documents, resuscitation, meteo, sanitary minimum. I also had to force myself to learn English. Before my first flight, I was very afraid that my colleagues would not like me or that I would pour boiling water or juice on the passenger, but nothing happened.

There are business trips and reversal flights. Business travel is when you stay in a city for a few days: this is how I visited China, the Emirates, Tajikistan, Greece. Reversal – when you fly back almost immediately. Judging by them, I have flown all over the world …

The most interesting flight was when I flew with the Ural football team. In my free time I could communicate with them, take pictures, they also gave us their T-shirts, and just cheered us up. This flight happened on my birthday, so I remember it well.

– Next February it will be 10 years since I fly. In 2007, I combined 3 jobs, and this did not suit me. I accidentally saw an ad in the running line about the recruitment of flight attendants to the airline. I was lucky – they took me! Then I studied in Chelyabinsk, Moscow and Frankfurt am Main. Of course, I had to improve my English, learn air law, service technology. But the most difficult thing for me was to learn how to communicate with people, both on board and in a team, because by nature I am an introvert. Time passed before I was able to find an approach to people, be able to calm down, trust a person and win his trust. I didn’t love my job at first sight, but it’s impossible to love it half way!

I remember my first flight – we flew on a TU-154. I didn’t fall asleep the day before, I was so worried. She flew as a trainee with a flight attendant instructor. I walked around the plane as if I were in a museum, afraid to touch it. Asked, like any trainee, stupid questions! Fortunately, I was lucky with the crew, and all my naive questions did not go unanswered. So from the flight I was already calm and confident that I had not chosen this profession for nothing.

It takes a long time to list the cities and countries I have visited, but my favorite and most fabulous one is Barcelona. Once we flew Ekaterinburg-Barcelona with a parking lot per day. And after the flight, it turned out that there was a strong headwind and we would have to land for refueling at Domodedovo, which would add another 2 hours to the flight. They announced to the passengers, everyone began to be indignant, to put forward their versions of what was happening. When the plane took off from Moscow, the passengers were already firmly convinced that we were boarding at Domodedovo to pick up some important “bump” that had paid us.

By the way, I also met my husband thanks to my work! In refresher courses, he taught English to flight attendants. Now I am on maternity leave.

Katerina Stolyarova, 24 years old

– I have been working for Ural Airlines since 2011. It all started like this: a friend of my aunt has been working in this field for 25 years, and she inspired me to apply. I completed a full training course at the Ural Civil Aviation Training Center. It was not hard for me, because I dreamed of the sky, and I approach my work responsibly. Now I am a senior flight attendant of the crew, mentoring young specialists.

Thanks to my work, I have seen many cities and countries. For example, we arrive in Antalya, live there for a week, relax, swim, go shopping. And then we carry out turning flights. I love the Arab Emirates the most: every building there is a work of art!

I’m not afraid to fly. In a turbulent zone or adverse weather conditions, when the plane shakes, passengers first of all look at the reaction of the flight attendants. Of course, we are people too and sometimes we are scared, but the flight attendant should think only about the good and calm people down.

My most memorable flight was Moscow-Hurghada, on that day I turned 22 years old. After landing, the aircraft commander congratulated me on my birthday over the speakerphone and read a poem. All 220 passengers clapped and congratulated me! It was very nice and great to have a birthday on the Red Sea.

Ekaterina Dmitrieva, 27 years old

– I have been working in our “heavenly office” for 4,5 years. The aviation industry often includes children whose parents have devoted their entire lives to the sky, or friends, relatives work there, or this is a “winged childhood dream”. My family and friends are far from aviation. And as a child, I wanted to become a physical education teacher. The work of a stewardess attracted – a beautiful form, travel, airplanes. But, having flown on my first air trip, I saw all the “delights” of this work: tortured flight attendants, performing a long flight, with displeased faces offered lunch, and then slept, sitting in the last row, exhausted! I thought, “Mom! And where is the romance, then? ” After 5 years, I received the education of a teacher-psychologist. After graduating from university, I started looking for a job and came across the airline’s website. I decided that my psychological knowledge would come in handy. And, of course, I do not regret anything and love my profession!

To become a flight attendant, you need to go through a very difficult training. Such subjects as “Aircraft design”, “Emergency rescue training on land, on the water”, “Resuscitation” at first frightened, but were interesting. In practice, we evacuated on an inflatable ladder, rescued each other in the pool, laid out figures of people in case of disaster, shouted commands, like in films about plane crashes. The flight attendant must be able to do everything from welcoming passengers on board to fighting fires and delivering childbirth.

I remember a flight a couple of years ago. We flew from Moscow to Yekaterinburg for about 2 hours. And on that day there was the final of the World Ice Hockey Championship, Russia-Czech Republic, and it was broadcast exactly at the time when we should fly! Most of the passengers were men and therefore, getting on the plane, they were nervous that they were missing the live broadcast. But our commander also turned out to be a fan and promised the passengers to broadcast every change in the score over the loudspeaker – after all, in flight he has a connection with the ground. The plane took off, the commander gets in touch: “Dear passengers! I want to please you – the score is 1: 0 in favor of Russia! ” After flying a little, again: “The score is 2: 0. Russia is ahead! ” The whole plane was jubilant, and after the final announcement of the bill, the passengers shouted: “Russia! Russia! ”, As if in the stands.

Svetlana Kovalenko, 28 years old

– I have been working as a flight attendant for 4,5 years. As a child, I did not even think about this profession. But I dreamed of traveling, so after receiving my diploma at the university, I sent my resume to the airline, and I was accepted. The most difficult thing for me was not to sleep at night. And I was never afraid to fly: I trust the professionalism of our pilots and technicians. And, in general, I am a bit of a fatalist by nature.

There is often something on board that you can later remember with a smile. Once in business class there were two passengers – a girl and … a dog. There was a separate place for the dog (there is such an opportunity – buy an adjacent chair at the reception). As it turned out later, the dog has its own blog and a page on social networks. These are the passengers!

During my work, I managed to visit Barcelona, Prague, Rimini, Harbin, Beijing, Bangkok, Dubai, Antalya, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Vladivostok, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, just to name it …

– I have been working in the aviation field for 6 years, and it all started quite by accident. She graduated from the university, after defending her diploma, like most graduates, I found a job in my specialty (I am an engineer-economist): a standard five-day period, a workplace like everyone else. I didn’t stay there for a long time. Acquaintances appeared who talked about the delights of working as a flight attendant. For some reason, they tactfully kept silent about the minuses, although they, of course, exist, as in any profession. So I went to the interview, thinking: “Why not? There is nothing to lose anyway. “

The hardest part at first was getting used to the lack of a schedule. It was a little annoying that I could not plan a trip to the doctor or a meeting with friends in advance. I always had to quickly adjust to the situation. But gradually I got used to it, I learned to keep up with everything and plan the time correctly, and now I can’t imagine life on schedule!

There are very pleasant events at work: one of these recently was my birthday at an altitude of 10000 meters! Colleagues prepared in advance and congratulated me during the whole flight.

To date, I have been able to visit Egypt, Turkey, Thailand, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain. And in our country there is an incredible number of beautiful cities that I would never have seen if it were not for my work.

– A good friend of mine worked at the airline, I often asked her about flights, sky, passengers. After university (I graduated from the Faculty of International Relations), the question arose of where to go to work. It was then that the thought came: why not a flight attendant? I know foreign languages, I like to travel. The selection was serious – out of 25 people only 6 passed. The most important thing in this work is to have excellent health. Even during training, one of the instructors told us that in aviation everything is simple: if it does not accept you, then you will not work even a month. She conquers the rest forever! Like me, for example.

The most difficult thing is probably getting used to the schedule, which does not exist. There is no concept of day and night, you live in Greenwich Mean Time. But I liked that too. I love flying: you put on a uniform, arrive at the airport, go through a medical examination, meet with the crew, then a pre-flight briefing, preparation and the most pleasant thing – meeting your favorite passengers!

I quickly became a senior flight attendant. The mood of our team largely depends on me – in no case should at least one crew member be unsettled, otherwise you will lose one person for the entire flight. And passengers are very sensitive to the mood of the crew, flight attendants and pilots. If they see a well-coordinated team in excellent spirits, passengers relax.

One more rule: the stewardess is the hostess on board the aircraft, and she must meet each passenger as a long-awaited guest. You quickly begin to feel and understand who came on board in what mood and who should be given special attention. So we are all psychologists!

I had flights with dignitaries, with stars: I remember the singer Sati Kazanova, the actors from the “Ural dumplings”. I fondly remember the flight with the singer Ingrid – she is so charming, open and cheerful! She said that she really liked our city and that there are many beautiful girls in Yekaterinburg.

By the way, in 2012 I became the winner of the Miss Civil Aviation 2012 beauty contest, which was held in Yekaterinburg.

I worked in aviation for 2,5 years and did not plan to leave, but, unfortunately, this was the case. Temporarily I am not flying, but I will definitely come back!

– I have worked in aviation for 4 years. I just got there: a friend invited me to go for an interview with her. It was her dream to become a flight attendant, but she has a husband and a small child. I dissuaded her from this venture, because the stewardess is rarely at home. And she herself successfully passed all the tests, and aviation became my dream job!

I had to learn how to get along with different people, solve freelance conflict situations, and adapt to drastically changing circumstances. The most difficult thing is to get used to not sleeping at night, because very often you have to perform night flights. During my work as a flight attendant, I have visited many countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, most of all I was impressed by China.

I was never afraid to fly. Since childhood, I travel a lot, both by train and by plane. And even after several years of work, I see the romance and beauty of this profession, where there is no place for fear.

Ekaterina Borodina, 29 years old

– I have been in aviation since 2007. And I got into this sphere by accident. At that time I was 19 years old, I was graduating from college, preparing for a session. On TV, my mother saw a running line that a new airline had opened and that young people were being recruited for the position of flight attendant. I did not believe that I would pass, but after the casting and the flight commission, I realized that everything turned out very well!

The first internship flight Chelyabinsk-Sochi took place … on my birthday. I was terribly worried, I was afraid to say an extra word to the passengers. In Sochi, the whole crew gave me a bouquet of flowers, and my happiness knew no bounds! And then it started: first flights within Russia, then foreign countries opened in front of me. Now I fly with Ural Airlines.

One of the most frequently asked questions from passengers: are we afraid to fly? When I am on board as a flight attendant, I am confident in myself, my strength and knowledge. There were times when passengers were so shaken with fear that they asked to sit next to them on takeoff and landing – to distract them with conversations. But then it was nice to hear sincere words of gratitude addressed to you.

I remember a lovely family. We flew from Yekaterinburg to Vladivostok. One couple called me over: their 5-year-old son really wanted to become a flight attendant and his parents asked if he could talk to us. He had a lot of questions. I took him to the kitchen with me. And throughout the flight, whoever pressed the call, he went out with the flight attendants and carried some water or juice himself. And if passengers came to the kitchen with a request, the boy would tell us: “Don’t worry! I’ll decide everything myself. ” During the flight, we became friends with this family, and the next day they organized a city tour for us.

On another flight, a young man approached us before landing: he was flying to rest with his girlfriend and wanted to propose to her. But while he was climbing the ladder, he decided to find out – can the commander of the plane do this? Our commander could not refuse. The half-flight guy asked: “Well, when?” After we finished all the service and the passengers were already resting, the commander went on the air and asked the girl a question on behalf of the young man. She got up crying, laughing, and of course, answered: “Yes!” And the whole salon applauded and whistled!

– I never dreamed of becoming a flight attendant, I graduated from the institute, received a diploma. I decided to rest for a couple of months and look for work. I was standing at a bus stop on one of the hot summer days and saw a stewardess. She was short, and I thought: “Wow, they take little ones as flight attendants (and I’m just short)!” And from that moment I had an idea about this profession. I found a company that recruits flight attendants, passed a medical examination, interviews.

The first flight was from Yekaterinburg to Moscow on a TU-154. And it passed non-stop – there was no time to think about fear, it was necessary to grasp everything on the fly, work quickly and think. Therefore, I joined the team very quickly and soon mastered the specifics of the work. And I have been working for 8 years.

Passengers are difficult, alas, there are severe drinking. But I don’t even want to remember the stories with them. But sometimes stars fly with us: I took pictures with Anna Kovalchuk, Mikhail Porechenkov!

The company has a large geography of flights: this week you are in Vladivostok, the next – in Dubai. This is great!

Yulia Kalistratova, 24 years old

– I have been working as a flight attendant for two years. It’s funny, of course, but at first I just liked the shape. I asked myself, “Why not?” This is how it all began.

The hardest part of this profession is to stay calm at all times. And, of course, work out the commands when rescuing. It’s scary to even imagine that you are responsible for hundreds of people. I fly only domestic flights, I have flown over half of Russia.

From a funny one, I recall the Yekaterinburg-Blagoveshchensk flight: when the passengers had already left the plane, I was handed a letter from a male passenger with a poem that he dedicated to me. It was nice, I still keep it and remember that guy with a smile.

Anastasia Baytulina, 25 years old

– I came to aviation in 2011. My college friend became a flight attendant in 2008. And it was always interesting for me to hear about her flights and travels around the world. Finally, I plucked up my courage and filled out an airline application form.

I never dreamed of the profession of a flight attendant, but fate brought me to aviation, and I am incredibly happy. When I put on my uniform, tucked my hair into a bun, pulled on my pumps and went to work, I was beautiful! After a year of flying around Russia, I studied English for a month, passed it and started flying around the world. Then the work opened up to me from a new side: the Emirates, Egypt, Turkey, Greece.

I remember a wonderful passenger on a flight from Hurghada to St. Petersburg – he was a wonderful 4-year-old boy, all his free time he chatted with me like an adult. Told me about the planets and about the war, I was amazed at how smart he was. I asked his mother how he knew so much, the answer was simple: he was interested in the books that his mother reads to him. And that mother, by the way, had three children!

It has never been difficult for me to take advanced training courses, classes, medical examination. It’s harder to get up at night and drive to work. Oh, these lack of sleep! Working as a flight attendant is a thrill when you are 20-25 years old, but when your loved one is waiting for you at home, the work is less and less enjoyable. It is very difficult to work in the field of aviation, when your heart is on the ground … Now I am on maternity leave and have not been flying for a year and a half and will hardly return to aviation. But a piece of me will always be in the sky!

– I studied in Yekaterinburg at the Ural Pedagogical University as an English teacher. There was no desire to radically change my profession, I just saw an advertisement for the recruitment of flight attendants. For the sake of interest, my friend and I decided to attend a couple of classes and got carried away. A friend is now teaching children English, and I fly!

There are certainly a lot of advantages in this profession. This is, first of all, the opportunity to travel. I also have the opportunity to practice a foreign language. Of course, an important factor is the monetary reward. Still, the salary of flight attendants is higher than that of a teacher. As with any business, there are downsides. For me, this is parting with my family, albeit for a short time. Most of the time is taken by flights, and this cannot but affect health: the change of time zones and climate, sleepless nights have a very strong effect.

An event that I still remember with warmth is a marriage proposal right during the flight. It was a flight to Larnaca with a young couple on board. The girl asked the guy to get the headphones out of the bag. The guy, apparently, closed the pocket of the bag badly, and a small bag fell out. The girl was not taken aback, looked into the bag and saw a ring there. The guy had to change his plans – to give a ring and make an offer on board the plane!
