15 habits of productive people

Yes, we have prepared another list for you, which is likely to help you achieve «successful success». But no: there will be no word that you should sleep only three hours a day and run a marathon every morning.

It seems to us that productive, energetic people simply have more energy than the rest. However, it is not. But their habits are completely different. What is characteristic of them and how can we use their life hacks to become more active and achieve more ourselves?

1. Get up at the same time, whether it’s a weekend or a weekday, the first morning of the new year or March XNUMXth. And it doesn’t matter what time you went to bed the day before — if you didn’t get enough sleep, your body will definitely let you know about it.

2. Start the day with a strong start, with a large and difficult task: the first two hours will set a brisk pace for the rest of the day.

3. Make good use of your time on your way to work. Listen to podcasts or audiobooks, learn something new.

4. Before going to bed and immediately after waking up, write down your goals. Do not let your dreams and tasks go out of your sight: this is the only way you can get closer to their implementation.

5. Plan quality breaks. Do not rely on the fact that, perhaps, sooner or later you will have a chance to rest: think in advance how you would like to relax and what to do, and never violate these plans. Completely disconnect from work tasks, properly recharge and take on them with renewed vigor.

6. Keep a diary at least once a day. Give yourself time to reflect on what happened today and think about what you can and should do tomorrow.

Spending 5 minutes every day cleaning is usually more than enough to keep things tidy

7. Give clear and concise answers — only «yes» and «no». If you are not sure about something, then your answer is “no”.

8. Keep to-do lists handy at all times—and if a new task or issue comes to mind, add it to your list right away. Next to each task, indicate the deadline for its completion, so as not to keep this information in your head and not to worry.

9. Get rid of the superfluous: from useless applications, from unnecessary gadgets and things. Every three months it is worth cleaning up your phone, computer, closet and desktop, getting rid of everything that only takes up space. You will see, you will immediately feel lighter, freer and more energetic.

10. Spending 5 minutes every day cleaning is usually more than enough to keep things organized in which the head works best.

11. Keeping a calendar or planner is the only way to make the most of the 24 hours you have. In the end, all that matters is what you spend your time on, every minute of it.

Watch funny videos or comedian performances, read witty quotes, feel free to fool around like a child

12. Challenge yourself to do something new in different areas of your life every day. And feel proud of the result.

13. Communicate with at least one person who has managed to move further than you — it must be someone who pursues the same or a similar goal. Communicate with such a person, do not hesitate to learn from him or her.

14. Be true to your choice, even if that choice turns out to be false. Go to the end, draw conclusions and learn to make more informed decisions. Only in this way can you avoid unpleasant consequences in the future and achieve significant results.

15. Laugh every day. Watch funny videos or comedian performances, read witty quotes and aphorisms, and feel free to fool around like a child. At least once a day, find a reason to have a good laugh, because (and this has been proven many times) there is a connection between happiness and productivity.
