Sounds even more ridiculous than sea cucumber. And this is just a kind of shellfish, which, according to eyewitnesses, are much tastier and more aromatic than oysters, mussels and scallops. These molluscs are not very common, because they are allowed to catch only a few days a year. Sea cuttings are grilled, steamed, or served as a trendy ceviche, which means they are practically raw. The clams are simply marinated in lime and chili juice for 15 minutes.

This is a Welsh dish. Despite the name, it is not exactly bread in its traditional sense. More precisely, not bread at all, but an attempt to replace it. The dish is prepared from porphyry – red algae. They are boiled for several hours until they turn into a puree called laver. Then, on the basis of this puree, bread is baked. It is served with bacon and clams.

The description of this dish sounds extremely unappetizing. This Italian dish is made from beef tripe flavored with wild mint and pecorino cheese. Experts say that you can fall in love with trippa, but only if it’s cooked really well. The slightest mistake of the cook – and the dish becomes inedible.

For meat lovers, this is a real find. Wagyu steaks were invented by the Japanese, who know a lot about pleasures. The marbled meat for these steaks is obtained only from cows of a certain breed, which are fed on a special diet rich in various nutrients. Thanks to this diet, the meat is simply unique in taste.

It sounds disgusting, but those who have tried it say that fried locusts are similar to our seeds. Plus, Asians have been chewing silkworms and grasshoppers in a hundred different ways for centuries. They say it’s delicious. By the way, the children of Angelina Jolie have already joined such a diet.

We are used to treating this fish a little dismissively, considering it “fish for cats”, like pollock. However, in the West, it is considered a real delicacy. And especially – cod caviar. It is advised to fry it on a grill or in a pan, and then mix it with pasta.
