When you just don’t want to worry about how much you’ll end up spending on meals and entertainment on a Caribbean vacation in Antigua, take away the stress by booking an all-inclusive resort.
From 5-star luxury at an adults-only retreat with butler service to a family-friendly 3-star property, Antigua has all-inclusive resorts for all budgets and styles of travelers. This island in the eastern Caribbean is home to 365 beaches (one for each day of the year), and the majority of them are speckled with beachfront resorts.
The greatest concentration of all-inclusive resorts and hotels is found on the beaches around the capital city of St. John’s, but there are also more remote locations to stay in should you want more privacy.
Here, we list our top picks for all-inclusive resorts around Antigua.
1. Jumby Bay Island – an Oetker Collection Hotel
Accommodation: Jumby Bay Island – an Oetker Collection Hotel
The most exclusive all-inclusive resort in Antigua, Jumby Bay is where you go to vacation with the rich and famous.
Set on its own 300-acre private island right off the coast, it has just 40 ultra-luxe rooms and suites, as well as 15 villas. The villas come with private swimming pools and direct ocean views, but regardless of what you book, expect to be treated like royalty.
Amenities here include three different dining options (all meals are included). The Estate House is where to head for a fine-dining experience and is considered one of the top restaurants in the Caribbean. For a more casual meal head to the Jumby Bay Veranda, which serves food all day.
There are also multiple swimming pools and a host of included water sports. If you don’t know what you are doing, the staff here can help teach you how to windsurf, sail, or paddleboard. There is also a spa on-site.
Location: Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda
2. Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa
Accommodation: Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa
Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa was created for couples, and this adults-only resort definitely has a romantic vibe that attracts a lot of honeymooners.
Located on Dickenson Bay, which is considered Antigua’s most gorgeous beach, this property includes more than the typical all-inclusive in its rates. Everything from Jet Skis to scuba dives is included, making it popular with active couples.
The accommodation comes in a few different styles. To stay right on the beach, book the Caribbean Beachfront Village with island-style villas on the sand. Regardless of what you book, however, you can expect 5-star luxury, with amenities like butler service and Jacuzzi bathtubs with separate rain showers.
There are 11 different restaurants to choose from serving a range of global cuisine. And at night, you can expect a rotating list of entertainment options, from karaoke to game nights and live music.

3. Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa – All Inclusive
Accommodation: Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa – All Inclusive
The 5-star Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa is where to book if you want to stay in an overwater bungalow. Set on stilts over the turquoise sea, these are the ultimate bucket-list romantic sleep.
With direct access into the ocean from your porch, the two-story bungalows feature upper-level decks with sun loungers and jetted infinity swimming pools, while the lower level has an over-the-water hammock. Butler service is also included.
If an overwater bungalow is a little out of your price range, the Royalton has other less expensive rooms and suites to consider. And unlike many of the all-inclusive resorts in Antigua, it doesn’t just cater to couples but also welcomes families. There is a kids’ club on-site with activities, and parents can also arrange for babysitting if they need a night off.
Other amenities include multiple restaurants that get good reviews for their quality food, swimming pools and hot tubs, fitness classes, a gym, and a range of organized activities for guests to participate in. If you want to arrange a couples massage or other treatment, there is a spa on-site as well (with an extra fee for treatments).

The boutique property has less than 30 rooms. The majority are hillside suites that come with private plunge pools and large wraparound porches. There are also beachfront and garden suites. These have split-level living spaces and outdoor showers.
Everything is included, but dining options are limited to a main restaurant and a poolside grill. The main restaurant focuses on locally sourced produce from its organic farm and also features live music in the evenings. Other amenities include cooking, yoga, pilates, and meditation classes.

Nonsuch has just one restaurant that serves a buffet for breakfast and lunch and then offers a la carte options for dinner. The food is fresh and gets good reviews, however.
