Couples seeking the ultimate romantic getaway have exclusive options, like the Rancho Bernardo Inn in the hills above the city, with only 49 luxurious casitas, or large luxury properties like the Park Hyatt Aviara Hotel & Spa near Carlsbad, with a seemingly endless array of activities and amenities.
