13 foods that will save you headaches

It turns out there is a strong link between migraines and the foods you eat.

According to statistics from American researchers, more than 75 percent of people between the ages of 18 and 65 reported having a headache during the year. And more than 30 percent of them reported suffering from migraines. To relieve headaches or migraines, which are often accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light, doctors say that you can just stick to a special diet.

Foods to help get rid of migraines

Meat. This food is high in coenzyme Q10 and is known to be involved in mitochondrial energy production, which can be impaired in people with migraines.

Cherry. This sweet fruit contains many polyphenol antioxidants that are known to reduce inflammation, a major factor in headaches and migraines.
