Winter gives a lot of reasons for a bad mood, but they are all surmountable. But it opens up incredible opportunities for working on oneself, rebirth, intellectual work. It is not for nothing that scientific progress is driven mainly by northern countries. There are plenty of opportunities for sports, getting new experiences and self-knowledge.

All successful friends flew to warmer climes and share photos on social networks. How can one not feel like a loser and a prisoner of a hated winter? It is the fact that someone lives better than you that leads among the causes of bad mood and depression. And, it would seem, there is nothing to oppose to this. But the path to success itself, each step towards it, is no less important for self-esteem than success itself. Let’s start taking our own steps towards success.
Plan a trip to the sea. Maybe not for now, not even for tomorrow, but be sure to open sites with tours and choose the right one. Even if the vacation is only many months away, a booked tour will warm you up now. Thoughts that you are a loser will disappear no matter how it happened! Early planning has many advantages: the tour is cheaper, there is time to save up for a good rest, there is a desire to work harder, self-esteem increases, and with it, as a rule, the salary also increases. Dare!
2. Choose the right clothes for cold weather
It’s cold and disgusting outside, parties and cafes are boring, and sitting at home is unbearable. But even the thought of going out into the cold is terrifying.
Unlike heat, from which residents of hot regions really get sick and suffer, cold is easily compensated by the right wardrobe. If you choose an active holiday, you will need sports winter overalls and a balaclava (they are now at the height of fashion, there are styles for every taste). If city walks are in the plans, a warm fashionable down jacket, a sheepskin coat or a new fur coat will do (taken in installments or on credit, it will cheer you up and self-esteem, the money will be returned a hundredfold).
Choosing a wardrobe is not only a practical, but also a creative process. It allows you to express your individuality. Sometimes you can spend a boring month in search of yourself, along the way learning a lot about fashion, practicality and your strengths.
3. Winter walks and entertainment
The best way to fall in love with winter is to get out into nature and try your hand at winter activities. At your service are walks on crisp clean snow, beautiful snow-covered alleys of parks, the opportunity to wallow in the snow, looking at the winter sky, make a snowman or build a whole snowy city.
During this period, nature is especially quiet and disposes to deep thoughts, to immersion in oneself. Silence with a minimum number of people even in noisy city parks, and outside the city it is more like a walk in space or a desert.

4. Winter sports
This is where you can roam in such a way that lovers to spend the winter under palm trees will envy! Skiing, tubing (the best way to remember childhood and get an adrenaline rush), city skating rinks are not only the best physical activity, but also a good place for relaxation and romantic acquaintance. Playing snowballs, and just an opportunity to ride a couple of meters on the ice rolled out on the street along with the fun children.

7. Bath or sauna
What could be better than going to the sauna after a frost? Probably, just run out of the bathhouse into the snow and jump into the snowdrift! If you live in the countryside, you probably have a sauna, but if you are a city dweller, find a fitness center with a sauna near the house or park where you walk. You will benefit from fitness programs all year round, and in winter, an additional bonus in the form of a sauna, and a guarantee against winter colds! But remember that sudden changes in temperature are not recommended for people with cardiovascular diseases.
8. Hot bath
If fitness is not for you, the best way to warm up after a winter walk in the city and give yourself unearthly pleasure is a bath with aromatic salts. If you still light candles, then the power of fire and water will allow you to recover, relieve stress and be completely reborn even in the most neglected cases. Sometimes you can add good music to this.
9. Solarium or UV lamp
In winter, we lack ultraviolet radiation, and this greatly affects vitality. Go to the solarium or buy a UV lamp – this will help to fully compensate for the lack of sunlight and return cheerfulness and optimism. This is a very important and effective method. But keep in mind that the duration of the sessions should be minimal, because UV rays in large quantities age the skin and provoke oncology. In minimal doses, the benefits from them are many times greater than the harm. Use wisely!
10. Interaction with living plants
Buy flowers and houseplants for your home. Even if you do not like winter walks, living plants will help change your mood for the better.
