No matter how you turn on the Western media, Mother Russia is scolded from every screen. It is clear that they are fulfilling the order of global politicians, since our Motherland is strengthening its leading position in the arena.
In order to brazenly scold our country, they attract world authorities, namely Hollywood stars, who can influence the crowds of their fans. What a popular actor or singer will say to journalists will be picked up by thoughtless fans. This is how politics works.
However, not all celebrities are ready to exchange their personal worldview and principles for “green candy wrappers”. The fees are quite enough to be able to express a true opinion about Russia without a twinge of conscience – how good it is!
Today we dedicate our optimistic review to 10 world celebrities who sincerely fell in love with Russia and are not afraid to declare it.
10 Til Schweiger
A popular actor originally from Germany visited Russia for the first time 8 years ago, presenting his film The Seducer.
Schweiger liked the beauty and hospitality of our lands so much that he once again went here as a tourist. I just walked the streets, looked at the sights and gladly signed autographs for the fans.
The actor considers our capital delightful and beautiful, he was struck by the large and well-groomed streets, as well as the local flavor and traditions of the Russian people. Thiel even posted some photos from Moscow on his Facebook page, where he said hello to fans from all over the world.
9. Will Smith
The black actor is already almost a regular in Moscow. Sometimes he came here on business, presenting his films to local fans.
Once it was not without alteration, when a Ukrainian journalist tried to kiss the actor, for which he got hit on the cheek. Maybe Will did not understand the specific humor of the locals, but this did not make him feel worse about the city.
The actor also came to Russia with his son, holding a conference in Gorky Park. There, Smith happily climbed onto a mock-up of our spaceship to proudly pose for the paparazzi.
8. Jude Law
Refined and elegant Jude Law simply could not help but appreciate the beauty of the capital of Russia. It turns out that he was able to form his first impressions of the country at the age of 14, having begun to study Russian. The trip to Moscow followed much later, but did not disappoint the actor.
Lowe liked Russia exactly as he imagined it – frosty and covered with snow. The actor happily took photos against the backdrop of churches and nature in his classic image of an aristocrat.
7. Hugh Jackman
The hot guy Wolverine also appreciated our beautiful Motherland. It turned out that he had a friend who had worked in Russia for five years and advised the actor to visit the country at his leisure.
And first of all, a friend campaigned to visit the Moscow metro, which Jackman did. The actor was sincerely surprised how chic it can be in the subway: statues, galleries, marvelous crystal chandeliers.
Jackman could not understand how people can be in such a hurry to do business that they do not notice the beauty around them. The man himself stood with his mouth gaping in splendor, as he himself recalls.
6. Robert Downey Jr.
The now popular actor knows the tense situation in the United States, where people, without understanding the situation, consider Russia to be the root of evil. But, as a reasonable person, he decided to personally check the facts, and confirmed the opposite.
Robert considered Moscow friendly and people open. In the capital, he presented the film “The Avengers” and even let the fans know that he was thinking of learning Russian.
The second time Downey arrived in the capital, presenting the 3rd part of his “Iron Man” at the Metropol Hotel. It was a real delight for the fans, because they could see their favorite actor with their own eyes, and also hear a few phrases in Russian from him.
5. Keanu Reeves
The actor is increasingly attracting the attention of journalists with his interesting worldview and asceticism incomprehensible to Hollywood. Who else but Keanu with such broad views could consider the truth – Russia is very good and powerful!
The filming of the film “Siberia” with Reeves in the title role was carried out not just anywhere, but in St. Petersburg. The actor was happy to take a break from a busy schedule during lonely walks through the streets and parks.
It is also known that Keanu tasted national cuisine and enjoyed talking with fans. Of course, interesting shots of the actor in Russia were obtained from the filming – whoever wants can find them on the Internet.
4. Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnie has long moved away from his rich sports past, but still admires Russian athletes. He even expressed a desire to someday personally communicate with them.
Arnold, as a Republican politician and governor, is not afraid to admit that he loves Russia. With a touch of nostalgia, he recalls the moments of filming “Red Heat”, which took place in the capital.
Schwarzenegger says that he felt at home in Russia, so he often comes here just for great leisure and memorable photos.
3. Leonardo DiCaprio
Who doesn’t know yet, but Leo’s grandmother was Russian, and he sincerely admired her courage and wisdom in overcoming difficulties along the way.
Probably, since childhood, the actor fell in love with the Russian spirit and was imbued with its power, hoping that he could also inherit the character traits characteristic of the people.
It would be nice for Leonardo to hear the cherished compliment “a real man” in Russia – he is already able to appreciate its semantic series. And what is the photo of the actor with Vladimir Vladimirovich – well, just a feast for the eyes!
2. Johnny Depp
The popular actor admitted that he respects the work of our writers and would love to visit places that inspired them.
The first time Depp walked in Moscow in 2011, presenting the 4th part of “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Fans occupied the hotel all night, where the charming actor was supposed to stay.
The second time he visited Russia was as part of a promotional tour for The Lone Ranger, uttering the title of the film to fans in pure Russian. Depp respects the serious history of our country and really wants to get to know its flavor better.
1. Bred Pitt
Yes, yes, and Brad Pitt also could not resist the charm of our beautiful Motherland. Six years ago, the actor became a guest of the Moscow International Film Festival, after which he immediately fell in love with the capital.
Pitt shares that the Bolshoi Theater struck him to the core as a masterpiece of world architecture. He also managed to see many of the sights of Moscow, including Red Square, St. Basil’s Cathedral and, of course, Tsar Cannon.
It’s funny that during his departure, the actor took a package of red caviar, a T-shirt with images of Moscow, a box of nesting dolls and even a military hat with earflaps.
Some of the celebrities spend holidays in Russia, someone just wanted to take a break from work as a free tourist, while others consider it as a permanent place of residence, wanting to get citizenship. Here they are, our foreign star associates.
