These beauties are truly happy. Because they are doing what they love, spitting on all gender stereotypes! They were not afraid to change their lives. The heroines of Woman`s Day told why they did not listen to advice that began with the phrase: “Well, you’re a girl!”. And you know, we envy them in an amicable way!
What it does: biker
– I began to be interested in motorcycles at first not of my own free will: I lived opposite the site where motorcycle riders “adorned” at night. It seemed like something distant and alien.
When I just started to be interested in stories, at this stage I was faced with the brightest sexism. My motorcycle route was lined with men’s “parting words”: “You are a woman, you still have to give birth”, “Oh, this is not a woman’s business”, “Sit at home – it’s dangerous”, “Okay, ride the second number”, “It’s not feminine “,” Anyway, you came here just to find a man. ” And this is just a little bucket of shit that a girl will feel on her way to category “A” rights.

Who said that moto is not a woman’s business? Here, intelligence is needed first of all, not eggs! The motorcycle is controlled by the head. The girls began to successfully participate in motojimkhana (figure control).
In men, a stereotype breaks down in their heads. They begin to test you: “What is the difference between an injector and a carburetor?” But if you build up your moral armor and really go headlong into your favorite business, then all these difficulties are nothing.
When you drive a nimble car, when you start to feel the motorcycle and understand the beauty of adventure, then you forget about everything. Then I found real friends, great girls. We travel together, help each other out on the road, understand the intricacies of servicing equipment, watch educational films, notice the mistakes of our friends … Finding real friends is priceless. And skating with them is just fantastic!
Irina Serebrenikova-Poteeva, 30 years old
What it does: boxing. Seven-time champion of Russia and winner of the European Championship among amateurs. She recently won her first professional fight over the winner of the World Cup in kickboxing.
– My dad gave me to boxing when I was 12 years old. I was pugnacious as a child … I immediately liked going to training and – it was mine! The first performances took place in the city of Verkhnyaya Tura. Then the honored coach Malyshevs from Nizhny Tagil noticed me and invited me to train at his place. From that moment on, my career took off.

I went to training camps, competitions, played for SC “Sputnik”.
In 2016, she gave birth to a baby and left her career for a while. But already 4 months after giving birth, she began to go to training. I felt great, although it was hard at first. I started one day a week, then twice, and went to the pool. And in the same year she had her debut fight as a professional!
For this, of course, I had to try, it is not easy, especially with a small child. I took and am taking my son with me to the gym, I ask my friend to look after him while I train or just call the nanny. Nothing can be a hindrance to sports if the desire is strong!
What it does: Rope jumping instructor at Mad
– Rope jumping is a fall from a height with the help of climbing equipment and rope stretched in a certain way. Jumping can be with free fall, as well as along the “trajectory of the pendulum”.
In 2011, I made my first jump. Extreme has become a breath of air for me in gray everyday life. Today I am an instructor of the highest category of the International Federation of Rope Jumping (IFRJ). With a team of like-minded people, we organize jumps from different heights for everyone.

Any activity in which there is an extreme situation is always associated with risks to life and health. But when making jumps, we assess the degree of risk and technically minimize these risks. Very often weather conditions affect – strong wind, torrential rain and thunderstorms more than once caused the cancellation of jumps.
Nowadays for me adrenaline is no longer in the first place: the more jumps you make, the more you start to enjoy the “quality”. For example, a steady fall, elements of acrobatics, people around you and even landscapes (believe me, jumping from a 200-meter cliff in Greece is still a pleasure!). And also the pluses in this sport are travel, mountains, communication with new and interesting people.
What it does: Skydiving instructor
– When I was 16 years old, my brother brought me to the airfield. At that time, he was already familiar with this sport, in the evening he offered to try it for me. In the morning I, my brother and his friends were already there. There was no special preparation. By the way, I didn’t feel any fear of stepping out of the plane, only interest! And it was important for me not to blunder before my brother.
I immediately fell in love with the sky, the feeling of free fall – as if you were lying on a soft cloud. This is still a thrill for me!

So I got into it. Having completed 96 jumps on a round parachute, I decided that I needed to move on – I went to study in Moscow. After another 2 or 3 years, I realized that I want to become an instructor – this is already another training. So I became the first air instructor at Loginovo airport and, in general, the first female instructor. She also taught how to fly in a wind tunnel. We – women – in this profession are few … I know another one in Moscow. Our profession is difficult for women: firstly, you need to be able to calm people down when they are scared, and secondly, during the doubles jump you can be “bogged down”, so you have to stabilize the situation yourself.
By the way, last year I became an examiner, and now I train instructors myself, I jump with a parachute, I love group acrobatics – this is when a group of people form figures in the air.
Parachuting changed me: I began to take a philosophical attitude to life, to those things that I used to worry about.
What he does: the investigator of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Yekaterinburg
– My job is to investigate criminal cases. Colleagues, of course, are mostly men. But I do not have to compete with them, because there is no separation of man / woman in the police. But, of course, if the need arises, then men are happy to come to the rescue. Yes, sometimes there are “dashing”, those who do not perceive, but when it comes to serious things, even the most unbelievers come to their senses.

My husband is my colleague. We met in 2013 when I was just starting my police career. Sympathy was born during the May festivities, we served for the protection of public order at the holiday. Personal and work do not overlap with us. We belong to different services, and at work we only interact with each other.
What it does: hunting
– I always strove for the woods. At the age of 5, I knew that I would be a biologist. At 12, she began to ask her father to somehow organize the hunt, but, alas, he was not fond of it.
I became a biologist and devoted 20 years to science. The scientific advisor took me with him on the expedition. While exploring the High North, someone always had a gun, and we managed to hunt regularly.
I felt real drive and excitement when I tracked down the beast, I felt like a primitive hunter! This is indescribable dissolution in nature …

Immediately after graduation, I got my first hunting dog, since then I have not gone hunting without them. And cynology became the main occupation. Without a dog, hunting is unprecedented – a bird can sink two meters away, if you pass by, you won’t notice. The dog will find everything – including the wounded animal (wounded prey that has hidden). With a setter, we hunt by feather, that is, a bird. And a year ago I took a greyhound – for me this is a completely new topic. But we don’t take dogs for the biggest prey, for example, for roe deer – the dog can get shot.
One fall there was a funny incident when we went to a duck. We defended the morning dawn, the evening … And the ducks fly high, and we are without prey. The men who were with us say: “By the way, the muskrat is also delicious. If anyone sees – shoot! ” Well, they got a muskrat, in the dark already. The guys quickly ripped it off, promised to cook it themselves. Prepared. We try, share our impressions. Some say it looks like a fish, some like a chicken. And suddenly one of the girls takes out a clawed paw from the plate … That’s it! No one else ate the muskrat.

What it does: Weightlifting
– As a teenager, I was engaged in taekwondo for about a year and a half, but my uncle often said that I was strong, and I could try to do the barbell.
At almost 16 years old, I decided to try it – and stayed in weightlifting. There were no girls in our group at all, so I took five classmates with me, but they could not stand it, and a month later I was again alone among the boys. But it did not bother me – I liked everything.

I keep going towards my goal. At the moment, the maximum weight that I have lifted is 170 kg.
Does my hobby affect my personal life? I ask my husband to open the tightly closed jar, but to bring the packages from the store is a piece of cake!
What it does: football
– I have been playing football for 7 years. At 13, my first coach, Grigory Bagrov, noticed me and invited me to the Legion school team. Although before that I was not involved in football. The most difficult thing was to join the new team. And in terms of training, there were no special difficulties, since new things are always interesting.
After a year of training at Legion, I moved to the VIZ-Sinara team. My main football life began here, and now it continues at UrFU, where I study.
I trained with Sinara for a long time, but at some point our entire team was attracted to play for the UPI-Java MFC, which was later renamed UrFU. That’s how we all ended up here. At first I just played for them, and then I entered the university and also began to play for the student team.

It’s part of me now. Someone is surprised that girls can play football, someone categorically does not like it, but I take criticism calmly. How many people, so many opinions. It is normal that someone does not like women’s football. The main thing is that my parents always support me, and they have never been against my hobby. And all my friends play with me on the same team!
What it does: football
– I started playing football at the age of 7 – with the boys in the yard. I come from the village of Maloyaz, Republic of Bashkortostan, where, unfortunately, there was no football section for girls. So I started to get involved in other sports – chess, basketball – and forgot about football. But in the 8th grade, a coach appeared in my life who was recruiting a women’s team.
Of course, I immediately gave up both basketball and chess. We trained every day for 2–2,5 hours on the street both in summer and in winter. The skills I learned in childhood stayed with me and helped me a lot. Some girls started from scratch, and it was harder for them.

We took part in the “Mini-football to school” project, and for three years in a row made our way to the All-Russian final. In 2012 they became the first.
After leaving school, I was offered to play big football in Ufa, but I like mini-football more, so I decided to go to Yekaterinburg. Once we came to the “UPI-JAVA” team for a show. The team’s management invited me to enter UrFU and play for their team. In the first year I was made captain of the student team. Then I was made vice-captain of the student team and the IFC “UPI-JAVA”. I became a captain last fall.
What it does: Executive Director of the Football Club, Deputy Director of the Center for Sports Training of Student Teams
– I have been involved in sports – ballroom and modern dances for 13 years, but I was injured and decided to continue improving in sports in a different capacity.
She herself has never played women’s football. I got into this sphere at the age of 20 quite by accident in the 3rd year of UrFU, when the club was just being created. I worked as an administrator for five years, then I was promoted.
I organize and conduct major sports events, such as the 2015 World Handball Championship, the Cross of the Nation, the torch relay of the World Universiade in Kazan.

The work is very interesting, but not easy and irregular – after all, usually competitions are held on holidays or weekends. A business trip can last 2 days, or maybe a week. There is, of course, the specifics of working with athletes: sometimes it is necessary to help psychologically, to communicate with the player, to get into the position, but so that this does not go to the detriment of the overall team result. It is necessary to maintain a balance: be not too strict, but not too kind.
The girl is quite capable of handling this position, which is most often held by men. If it is not possible to defend the position, the president will help, if physical strength is needed, the head coach will always help.
