10 tips that save after a 4 hour night

1. We help our eyes open

Un sprinkle of mineral water or a ice water cotton to decongest the area. Then an eye contour cream that hydrates well and reduces puffiness. For those who wear contact lenses or tend to have dry eyes, eye drops that rehydrate are strongly recommended.

2. We think about breakfast …

When fatigue numbs the limbs and clouds the brain, only one thing can help put a foot on the ground: the prospect of breakfast. We offer ourselves a hot beverage (or even two) which reboots (tea, coffee) and carbohydrates (toast, muesli) that comfort. If you have an appetite, add a boiled egg, fresh fruit or dairy product. Yes, we need energy!

3. We go in the shower

It erases all external traces of fatigue for at least an hour, and that’s already a lot for morale. We prefer lukewarm water et a soap with an invigorating scent. We massage our necks and shoulders in passing. And if you are brave, you end up with a jet of cold water.

4. We make ourselves a beauty

Outside ofaday cream that corresponds to your skin type, we do not ignore mascara (which widens the gaze), concealer (a shade lighter than his skin) to apply in the inner corner of the eye, especially not by filling the hollow of the ring, and a clear blush on the top of the cheekbones.

5. We move in the morning!

It’s not what we dream of in the morning, but in reality, spending oneself will help our body to recharge and to feel “good fatigue”. This will prevent us from becoming too nervous and losing patience with our baby or our boss. A walk in the neighborhood with baby, a gym session or yoga in the living room, the bike ride to work; no need to do a marathon, the main thing being torelease the stress while moving.

6. We put on relaxed clothes

Without going so far as to put on an old, distorted jogging pants, we prefer soft and fairly loose clothing, which allow to feel comfortable and to be able to relax in empty moments (naps, feedings, games on the awakening mat…).

7. We eat light for lunch

If you have a “big” lunch, there is a good chance of collapsing when leaving the table. We opt instead for a mixed salad ou a fish with vegetables. Without forgetting fruits to fill up on vitamins and feel full. You can then take a coffee or a tea to give yourself a little boost (not after 16 p.m.).

The anti-fatigue tip!

In the event of a sudden pump, we immediately take 1 glass of mineral water rich in magnesium, and 2 squares of dark chocolate or 1 handful of dried fruits.

8. And in the evening …

In the last part of the day, fatigue often discourages moving forward with your plans. We tackle calm tasks : cook, call a girlfriend, nursery while listening to music … The secret to keeping energy: think about the coming night and at rest that we will find, lying in our bed once the day is over. And if the night turns out to be rock’n’roll again, we think of breakfast and so on!

9. Water, water, water!

It is this which allows to eliminate toxins and to avoid headaches and stomach aches, even after a streaky night of awakenings. So, from the morning until the evening, we walk with a bottle of mineral water et we drink regularly during the day, in small sips.

10. We take a nap

For those who have returned to work, a break with their heads in their arms (like at school) will help

at least to empty and release tension. For the others, as soon as the baby falls asleep in the afternoon, we lie down in an armchair next to it and read a few lines, to fall asleep for the tens of minutes that baby will want to give us!
