Babies feel a lot even before birth. Something they like, and something they don’t.
Many emotions are shared by the tiny man in her mother’s belly with her, depending on which hormone is now responsible for her mood. Happiness, anger, stress – our children get to know all these feelings even before birth. This is why it is so important that mom is happy. After all, then her baby will also be happy. But there are things that unborn babies don’t like. Sometimes they make it clear by kicking and kicking, and sometimes their true attitude can only be seen on an ultrasound.
1. Mom’s laugh
No, when you feel good and have fun, the child is good too. But when you laugh, your baby may feel uncomfortable. Doctors found this out by asking mothers to laugh during the ultrasound. Indeed, at this time, the woman’s belly is shaking, twitching up and down. It turned out that some of the little ones were not at all opposed: they were smiling and spinning in their stomachs. But many kids didn’t like the laughter. The baby’s faces looked like the baby was crying silently in its mother’s belly – it was so unpleasant for them to be pulled up and down.
2. Persistent touch
Sometimes you can even communicate with your child: you stroke your stomach, and he responds with a touch from the inside. However, some children do not like invasions of their personal space. Even if it is not their own, it is your own body. When he’s not in the mood for a game, he will dodge touch, pushing you somewhere away from your own palm. This means that the baby needs a little rest.
3. Driving off-road
Babies dislike about the same as laughter. It is believed that a ride on a shaky road is to bring childbirth closer. But doctors say it doesn’t work. The kid will gather outside only when he is ready, and no bumps will force him to do it sooner. But he can feel bad after such an attraction: he will experience about the same as rolling on a roller coaster.
4. Loud noise
The kid is actually constantly surrounded by noise. He hears what is happening around him, hears sounds in his mother’s body. Moreover, they are not at all as romantic as we used to think – heartbeats, all that. Our intestines sound the loudest for a child. He’s very close. Scientists say that the level of noise that surrounds the baby in the mother’s stomach is comparable in power to the noise of a building hair dryer. And, despite this, he does not like too loud noise from the outside world. Therefore, it is better not to get out to rock concerts on the last dates.
5. Stress
Mom and baby share hormones in two. Your baby gets the same amount of stress hormones as you do. If we, adults, do not like to worry, we can only assume how much the child does not like it. Newborns and young children desperately need a sense of security. Stress deprives him of this feeling. By the way, scientists say that children, whose mothers often experienced stress during pregnancy, have more colic and more restlessness than babies of calm mothers.
6. Flashing light
This is another way to play with the baby even before birth, along with tapping on the belly: shine a flashlight on the belly, turning it on and off. The child sees it in much the same way as we see the sun with closed eyes. We love the sun, but sometimes we get tired and just want darkness and silence. So it is with the baby – sometimes he is also not in the mood. In this case, the child simply does not react to light.
7. When mom is spinning in her sleep
You are asleep, and he is also asleep. If you start spinning, then the baby is spinning completely not at will. For him, your body movements are like an earthquake. But he can’t even move out of his hectic living space ahead of time! So you just need all these wonderful sleep pillows. Both of you.
8. Spice
Children really taste the food their mom eats. But not like us, with our tongue, but thanks to the amniotic fluid that surrounds them. And what kids definitely don’t like is the very spicy and spicy food. If a mother’s mouth is on fire, then there is a high probability that her baby too.
9. Sports in the third trimester
It’s not that mom’s heart rate increases, but her muscles work. In the third trimester, the baby already becomes cramped in the stomach. And here the muscles of the mother’s press are straining, making the “living space” of the crumb even less. Who would like this! Just imagine – the baby feels as if the walls of his home are shrinking, but he cannot get out.
10. Sadness
Scientists cannot fully explain why babies cry in the womb. It is only known that they know how to do it. No tears – tears will appear a few months after birth. On the ultrasound, they more than once recorded how the baby opens his mouth, his jaw trembles, he takes several sharp breaths, and then exhales. All that remains is the sound – the baby is crying. Therefore, you should be less sad. After all, the baby will be sad and cry with you.
