In 2019, the last episodes of popular series will be released, the characters of which the viewer has been watching for several years. The times of TV shows with thousands of episodes are behind us, and this is for the best, but this does not make it easier to part with your favorite series.

8. Gotham
This is a series based on the characters of the DC Comics universe, a fantasy about becoming heroes and villains. This is a standalone work that has nothing to do with the expanded universe of comics.
The story develops from the point of view of James Gordon, who has not yet become Commissioner. Bruce Wayne is still young, and his parents are just dying. Penguin, Riddler, Catwoman have just stepped onto the slippery path of crime. 7. Crazy ex
Rebecca is a single young woman who graduated from Yale and Harvard universities, a talented lawyer with a prestigious job. One day she meets Josh, her high school sweetheart.
Things are not going well for him, and he decided to return to West Covina, his hometown. Rebecca decides this is her chance, quits her high paying job in New York and follows Josh to get her feelings back. The series started in 2015, and in the spring of 2018, production began on the fourth season, which will be the last.
6. I’m a zombie
Olivia Moore, simply Liv to her friends, is a young cheerful girl, a resident, in front of whom a wide world of endless possibilities is open. But one day he collapsed.
At a party, Liv was bitten and turned into a zombie. She is forced to go to work in the morgue, where there is always access to fresh brains. But by eating gray matter, Olivia gains access to the feelings and memories of the dead, who are often victims of crime.
Thanks to her new abilities, the zombie girl helps the police solve crimes, and the investigators are sure that she is a psychic.
With the help of Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Olivia has a chance to stand against the criminals and the evil that is attacking the city. In 2018, the series was renewed for a 5th season which will end the story.
5. Game of Thrones
This series, based on George Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels, solemnly paraded through screens around the world and won the love of millions of viewers.
The pseudo-medieval story about the struggle for power, about love, wars, betrayals stretched out for eight seasons, and now the denouement is closer. The upcoming final season will have only 6 episodes, but they will be eventful, and fans are waiting to guess how it will end and build their assumptions.
4. The Big Bang Theory
An American sitcom about four scientists and their attractive neighbor started in 2007. He was deeply loved by the audience for his humor, charismatic characters and interesting stories. Sheldon, Leonard, Rajesh and Howard worked, studied, fell in love, got married and even had kids over the course of 12 seasons.
And so the story comes to an end. According to rumors, the initiator was Jim Parsons, who is ready to part with the image of Sheldon Cooper and do other work.
3. Shadowhunters
This is a fantasy series based on the plot of the book “The Mortal Instruments”. Clary Frey grew up as an ordinary girl, but when she comes of age, she learns that she comes from an ancient family that has been protecting the world of people from evil forces for centuries.
At a party in a club, she becomes a witness to a fight, and in the heat of a showdown, she accidentally kills a guy who turns out to be one of the evil creatures that threaten the well-being of people. After that, her mother is kidnapped, and in an effort to save her, Clary finds herself in another world.
A total of 3 seasons were filmed, and two separate episodes will be released in 2019, which should complete the plot of the series.
2. Mr. Robot
The American drama series was released in 2015. The main character, Elliot Alderson, leads a double life. By day he is an engineer, a cybersecurity specialist, by night he is a talented hacker.
The hero faces a difficult choice when the leader of an underground group that trades in cybercrime offers him to overthrow a large corporation.
That’s just Alderson works for this corporation and is convinced that the bosses are destroying the world around. At the moment, 3 seasons have been filmed, 4 will be the final in the story of Elliot Alderson.
1. Homeland
The psychological thriller Motherland is based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War. The protagonist is Marine Corps Sergeant Nicholas Brody. He is listed as missing, but everyone is sure that he died.
A few years later, he is discovered at the base of a terrorist organization. The CIA suspects that Brody is collaborating with al-Qaeda, and his goal is to return to the States and carry out a series of terrorist attacks. The CIA expert, Carrie Mathison, is trying to bring the sergeant to clean water, but he is considered a hero in his homeland, which significantly hinders the investigation.
In later seasons, Carrie Matheson becomes the focus of the story, and the series touches on important political and social events in the country. The eighth season, which will be released in 2019, will be the final one.
