The birthplace of superheroes is the United States, a young state that did not have its own unique culture. This is a country where people from all over Europe came and brought slaves from Africa, they brought with them fragments of their cultures.

But over time, they needed their own gods, and they were replaced by superheroes. Their comics became a national treasure in America, but this cultural phenomenon was so successful that it quickly spread to other countries.

Russia, among other things, has undergone a superhero fever. But there is also a rather “old” person with superpowers in our top. Maybe you already guessed who it is?

10 Arsus, Khan, Ler, Xenia, The Defenders | 2017

The film “Defenders” was presented by director Sarik Andriasyan as an alternative to films from Marvel and DC.

The main characters are four people with supernatural powers. Among them are the werewolf Arsus, the bear-man, the super-fast Khan from Kazakhstan, Ler, who can control stones, and the beautiful Xenia, who can become invisible.

The main antagonist of the picture is August Kuratov. He led the experiments to create a superman, but when the project was closed, Augustus blew up the laboratories along with him. As a result of the explosion, he received extraordinary strength and now intends to take over the world.

9. Vampire, Margarita, Doctor, Mosquito, «On games» | in 2009

In 2009, Pavel Sanaev filmed the first Russian cyberpunk, which was called “On the Game”.

The main characters participate in eSports competitions and take first place. As a prize, they receive discs with the latest scientific developments.

8. Oleg, Sveta, Boris, Pavel, Rita, SuperBobrovs | 2016

“SuperBobrovs” is a sincere comedy from Dmitry Dyachenko. The scriptwriters decided to imagine what would happen if members of the most ordinary Russian family received superpowers? And the Bobrovs get them as a result of a meteorite fall.

Boris, the head of the family, learned to teleport, his son Tolik learned to understand the language of dogs. His daughters Sasha and Rita acquire great strength and skills. Another daughter, Sveta, gains invisibility, and her husband gains the ability to release water from his finger.

Another person lives in the house, Pavel Grigorievich, Boris’s father-in-law. At the time of the meteorite fall, he died, but then resurrected and became immortal, which greatly upset him.

The peculiarity of the superbeavers is that they have abilities only when they are all together.

7. Misha, Bear Kiss | 2002

The film “Bear Kiss” tells about the circus troupe, which needed a wild bear for the performance. They took a little bear whose mother had died.

However, not everyone can be fooled. And businessman Viktor Kuptsov, who dreams of taking possession of diamond deposits near Moscow, blackmails Dmitry into helping himself.

Everything changes when Sasha falls in love. But his girlfriend is unaware of either the deadly blade or that Sasha is being pursued.
