10 Alien (2010)
The film is set in 1993. A bandit nicknamed Babai goes to jail. He knows too much, so the crime boss he works for decides to take Babai’s sister hostage. That’s the only way to keep a guy quiet.
The girl lives in Prague, where she works as a prostitute. A company of four “brave guys” goes to a foreign country. With difficulty, but they find Alien. What happens next is not for the faint of heart. Murder, blood… Will any of them be able to survive in this difficult time?

9. Kids of the 90s (2015)

8. Fool (2014)
social drama. The action takes place in a provincial town. Dmitry Nikitin works as a plumber. One day he comes to another call to the hostel, a pipe burst.

7. Collector (2016)
Dramatic film with a single main character. His role was excellently played by Konstantin Khabensky.
In the story, Arthur works collector. He is a real specialist in this matter, cynical and cold-blooded. In his activities, he uses not physical, but psychological methods of influence. He finds the weak points of debtors and puts pressure on them.
Arthur soon finds himself in a difficult situation. A compromising video has been posted online. This is the work of a woman, the wife of Arthur’s client. After talking with the collector, the man committed suicide.
Arthur is fired, his relatives turn away from him. On the street, a crowd of journalists and ordinary people are waiting for him, who want to know the details of the case. Arthur spends the night in his office, but at 6 a.m. he has to release him…
6. I want too (2012)
Dramatic film by Alexei Balabanov, his last work.
There is a legend that between St. Petersburg and Uglich there is a bell tower of happiness. She takes people, but everyone. Everyone hopes that a happy fate is prepared for him. People in a big black jeep are also heading there, they hope to change their lives. They are very different, but they are united by faith in the best.
Interesting fact: director Alexei Balabanov was seriously ill when he was working on the film “I also want to“. He even played a dying director in it, which was a kind of hint to the fans that there was not much time left. Surprisingly, after his death, on the 40th day, the bell tower of the Zapogost church, where the shooting took place, collapsed.
5. Boomer (2003)
Another crime drama. In the center of the plot is the fate of four criminals. They get involved in a conflict on the road, after which they arrange a shootout in a cafe.
The bandits soon notice that they are being aggressively pursued. They try to break away from the chase, and decide to leave the city for a while on a stolen boomers.
Along the way, one of the criminals finds out what happened. It turns out that in a shootout they killed an FSB officer who was introduced into a criminal gang. Boomer for some time will become a real home for friends, their refuge, their salvation. Will they be able to resolve this difficult situation without loss?
4. Hide and Seek (2005)
Black comedy, slogan: “For those who survived in the 90s“. The action of the movieDwarfstakes place in Nizhny Novgorod. Sergei Mikhailovich is a crime boss, a typical “new Russian”. He has both a crimson jacket and a phone with a retractable antenna.

Sergei Mikhailovich gives them one last chance, but, apparently, Seryoga and Simon have a black streak. They again failed to fulfill the boss’s order…

1. Major (2013)
Maj. Police Sergei Sobolev hurries to the hospital, gives birth to his wife. On the way, he hits a boy who was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing with his mother.
Sergei wants to avoid responsibility, he himself calls colleagues to the scene of the accident, and the mother of the deceased child locks him in the car. The police remove all the evidence and force the woman to sign a statement exonerating the major.
