Recently, the analytical agency Dalia Research published a study that declared Russia a country of cat lovers. It turns out that nowhere else in the world love cats as much as we do: 59 percent of the respondents had these animals in their homes. Ukraine is in second place in the ranking, and the United States is in third place. And in Malaysia, there are most people who, having brought a cat into the house, cannot stop – they have a couple more. In the meantime, we found out why those who still do not have a fluffy pet in their apartment should definitely have one.

1. The cat knows where you shouldn’t sleep

Cats have a subtle sense of abnormal zones in the apartment. If you put a bed in such a place, then sleep is unlikely to bring you rest, relaxation and other joys of doing nothing. Another heroic cat was even awarded a medal: he caught rats on an English warship, even when he was seriously wounded. He saved the crew’s food supply for more than a hundred days and died shortly after the ship returned to shore.

Keeping a cat is usually cheaper than keeping a dog. Cats eat less, they need less groomer services, and they don’t destroy toys as fast as dogs do. In addition, they do not cause inconvenience to neighbors: it is unlikely that the cat will howl sadly while you are at work. And it won’t bark loudly either. And you don’t have to stand guard next to the bag in hand when it comes to the natural needs of the animal.
