Who is a loser? For some, this is the one who cannot find a job and a place in the world, for others, the one who cannot start a family in any way. For the third — the one who does not know how to earn money and cannot provide for himself. Are there common signs among people who are unable to succeed in different areas of life?
Most people think that a loser is someone who has no money, no job, no family, no friends. I am inclined to think that this is someone who does not know how to trust, respect, or love others. Perhaps the second leads to the first.
One way or another, you can become a loser even with a luxurious house, a five-car garage and a private jet. Why? Here are the qualities that can quickly make you a loser.
1. Inconsistency
Successful people go to the goal step by step. They do not deviate from ideals, they have the highest values, and words do not diverge from deeds. They don’t change their bearings because of small difficulties, but look for a way to cope with them.
If for you the glass is always half empty, there is no happiness and joy in life, those around you will turn away from you
The life of a loser is like a weather vane. He easily follows the lead of others, refuses beliefs. He easily grabs a new project, does not bring it to the end, is sprayed on trifles and quickly gets carried away by the opposite. To succeed, you need to move consistently and systematically.
2. Love for gossip
Only outsiders like to listen to them and distribute them. In fact, this is a defense mechanism that allows you not to notice the absence of something interesting in your own life. If you become a gossiper, you will not be trusted, and without trust and friendships, you cannot succeed.
3. Chronic pessimism
From time to time, many people see life in dark colors, but if the glass is always half empty for you, there is no happiness and joy in life, sooner or later those around you will turn away from you. Such pessimism is stifling and paralyzing. If you do not see the beauty of the world, do not notice the good and do not appreciate every day, then you are limiting yourself.
4. Indifference
Whatever you do, you can not remain indifferent to others. If you can leave a person in trouble, ignore a lost child, fail to help someone in need, then you are an outsider.
Mature and wise people always strive to make the world around them better. Being kind, helpful, and generous is the best way to improve yourself.
5. Lack of ambition
Not to strive for anything, not to do more than is required, not to make extra efforts — the credo of losers. This is a harmful «toxic» quality. Therefore, with those who do not want anything and go with the flow, the majority avoids communicating, they remain alone.
6. Envy
Such people envy those who have managed to achieve something in life. At the same time, they find an excuse for their own inaction and the current plight.
Instead of wasting time on envy and self-justification, take action
Phrases from the series “I would also like to manage a company like my classmate. But his parents helped him, ”you need to drive out of your head. Instead of wasting time on jealousy and self-justification, take action.
7. Lack of faith in yourself
“I don’t have a commercial streak,” “I just don’t know how to make the right contacts,” “I’m not built for success” — all these phrases limit development and form a sense of self-pity. Losers firmly believe that they are not destined to be successful.
Someone blames overweight, height, origin, unsuccessful marriage, untimely divorce. Young people regret their lack of experience, mature ones regret their youth.
If you refuse to admit that you don’t know everything, your life will remain dark and monotonous.
Meanwhile, you need to believe in yourself in any situation. It is good to acknowledge the presence of certain difficult circumstances. But it is important to understand that they only impede the path to success, and do not block it.
You just need to say to yourself, for example: “Yes, at my age it’s difficult to make a career in this area, but I can do it.” Stop thinking that you are not made for happiness and success. This is the road to nowhere. Put in more effort, give your best. Then you will be successful.
8. The habit of wasting time on nonsense
Successful people clearly plan the day and appreciate every minute. They even use their free time to their advantage. Instead of sitting in front of the TV, they go for a run, instead of reading social networks, they learn something new, instead of empty chatter on the phone, they cook a healthy dinner.
9. Reluctance to learn something new
Our perception is divided into three parts. The first is what we know. The second is that we know that we don’t know something (for example, that life exists on other planets, it just hasn’t been found yet). Third, we don’t know what we don’t know (we admit we don’t know much).
It is important to be able to make decisions and admit mistakes
Forgetting the third part, you close yourself to new information. If you refuse to admit that you don’t know everything, your life will remain dark and monotonous. Only losers think they know everything. They are content with the acquired knowledge and do not strive to develop.
10. Fear of responsibility
It is important to be able to make decisions and admit mistakes. Without this, you cannot become the head of the company. Shifting responsibility and blame to others hinders decision making and exacerbates problems. Until you learn responsibility, you will never be a winner or the person who will change the world.
