10 places in Moscow with unrealistically delicious breakfasts

There’s something new on Wday.ru! In the Restaurants section we will choose where to go on a date, where to wear the most beautiful dress, and where to go for breakfast.

Where are the most unusual, delicious and beautiful breakfasts in Moscow, says our columnist Ksenia Bausheva.

“Breakfast is the most important (crossed out) delicious meal of the day! You can painlessly eat pancakes, rolls and other “not friendly” for the shape of the dish. Breakfast creates your mood for the day, and for me personally it is a whole ritual. Therefore, I have put together a guide for you to the places where breakfast will not leave you indifferent and hungry. ”

UiUiam’s

Malaya Bronnaya St., 20a

I would call Uilliam’s a legend, I’m not afraid of that word. This is the place from which the history of “other” restaurants on Patrick began for me. Sneakers, people sitting in the windows, under the windows on the pillows … Uilliam’s is already 9 years old, and this, believe me, is a very decent period for a restaurant, and which is still trending to this day. So, about breakfasts: there are more than 15 items on the menu, and having breakfast at Patrick’s is a special delight and a true Moscow tradition. Local cheesecakes are also a legend. My special recommendation is green pancakes. And be sure to try the truffle omelet!

Average check for breakfast: 1200-1500 rubles.

“Daily bread”

This is a chain of restaurants that are located throughout Moscow. My favorites are at the corner of Sadovy and Arbat and, again, at Patrick. The project, in my opinion, is very laconic. The only thing that can be added is a list of the breakfast menu items that I especially like here. So, my choice: salmon and avocado (in fact toast with salmon and avocado), cheese cakes, pancakes with fresh mashed strawberries. You can generally go here every day – for bread. Here are amazing pastries that you want to buy for yourself and your family.

PS. There are positions specifically for vegetarians.

Average check for breakfast: 800-1000 rubles.

Bosco Cafe

Krasnaya pl., 3

Suitable for lovers of elegant breakfasts. The perfect morning is on the veranda if you come here during the warmer months. When the weather is no longer summer, it is better to sit in a hall with a piano overlooking Red Square. Be sure to try the cottage cheese pancakes with fresh berries. I love cheese pancakes very much and take them everywhere, and these are the cheese pancakes that are considered the best in all of Moscow. And I completely agree with that. Pay special attention to the display case with mini desserts and treat yourself to at least three of them – the pleasure is worth it.

Average check for breakfast: 1200-1500 rubles.

Margarita bistro

Malaya Bronnaya St., 28

Again Patrick. This place has the tastiest, in my opinion, croissants in town. They are served with whipped butter and jam. The moment you try this, the planet stops! French toast with syrup and nuts, toast with mozzarella, truffle and tomato jam (yes, just jam) are great, for which it is worth coming for breakfast here!

Average check for breakfast: 1000-1200 rubles.

Dr. Zhivago

Mokhovaya, 15, p. one

Soviet modernity – this is how I will describe Zhivago, always half filled with foreigners. It just so happened – someone somewhere started a rumor that tourists must visit this place, and they come here in droves from the first day to this day. Russian cuisine. Therefore, for breakfast I recommend Varenets, cottage cheese grandma (this is not a typo, just a grandma, that’s what it’s called). And this is the only place (well, I just don’t know anymore) that has over 20 variations on the menu on the theme of “eggs for breakfast”.

Average check for breakfast: 1200-1500 rubles.

“Pushkin”

Tverskoy Boulevard, 26a

If you didn’t have breakfast at Pushkin, you basically didn’t have breakfast. I remember it was a whole ritual: to go dancing, and then have breakfast with champagne at Pushkin. So, here you need to order champagne and black caviar for breakfast – I’m serious – and breathe in every moment! What exactly to take? Sturgeon caviar or an assortment of three types of caviar, and order pancakes to this (by the way, there are gluten-free pancakes here). And when choosing a dessert, pay attention to homemade jam.

Average check for breakfast: 1300-1600 rubles (if you refuse caviar).

Butler

Trekhprudny lane, 15

I recommend brunch at Butler on Sundays – not breakfast, but brunch. The peculiarity is this: you pay 3900 rubles for admission (for children under 6 years old, admission is free), and you have a buffet without any restrictions on time and number of plates. At the same time, the quality of food remains high, the taste is Italian, and the service is restaurant-like. And, by the way, animators work for the little guests on the same day.

PS. I think this is the most delicious truffle pizza in town.

Price per person per brunch: 3900 rubles.

Friends Social Club

Kutuzovsky prospect, 1/7

For me, this place has its own magical and special aura. We must pay tribute that 90 percent of the visitors to this institution are female. Let’s say you want to meet with a friend and don’t want to dress up, but go at home, in sweatpants and with a “ghoul” on your head. It is also desirable that no one is looking at you, and you would be left to yourself and delicious food, as well as home (in the best sense of the word) service. If so, I sincerely recommend this place. In one small room, where there are no more than 8 tables, there is a restaurant project, and to the right is a showroom. As for the breakfasts, there is a position for which it is worth coming – cheese cakes with baked milk. It’s cosmic!

Average check for breakfast: 800-1000 rubles.

OMG Coffee

Nizhny Susalny per., 5, p. 10, TRC “Pavlovo Podvorie”, p. 4

These cafes can be safely called a chain, although so far from two points. The first one is located in Nizhniy Susalny lane in Moscow, the second – in the nearest Moscow region on Novorizhskoe highway in “Pavlov Podvorie”. God, what delicious cakes are here! They are made without any chemical additives, absolutely natural. Besides the fact that they are huge, they are also super tasty. And what is breakfast without a good piece of delicious cake?

OMG Coffee has a conveniently built menu: it is with pictures, and you know exactly what you are ordering, and do not get lost in tricky (read as “creative”) names from the chef in collaboration with the marketing department. Large selection of dishes with toast or bouchet buns. There are even designer croissants that you will not find anywhere else, if only because they are square here. In addition to unusual and original dishes, there are also classic cheese cakes, and even just fried eggs. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast. The interiors of the cafe deserve special attention: incredibly cozy, with many lovely details. Each corner is a separately created photo zone. And the food, by the way, is also very photogenic.

Average check for breakfast: 1000-1200 rubles

Bambule

Solyanka, 1/2

In general, Bambule is a wine bar in the classic spirit of Kitai-Gorod. The interior is inspired by German establishments in the style of the 70s, a small menu. But! For the Bambule bar, breakfasts were prepared by the Eggcellent project, which was created by two girls who know a lot about delicious, unusual and original breakfasts. Today this project is here, and later they will move and sell their breakfasts in a different establishment with a different menu. Back at Bambule, Eggcellent makes it a must to try the salmon poached and a must-have grilled cheese croissant (the freshest croissant baked with three types of cheese) with tomato soup. You tell me what kind of soup for breakfast! But try this one and you’ll see that I was right. And also truffle-orange benedict. Just because you have not tried this anywhere and are unlikely to try, I’m sure.

Average check for breakfast: 1000-1200 rubles.

Bon appetit, have a delicious breakfast!
