This Croatian national park is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. To preserve the natural balance, visitors are strictly prohibited from swimming in the lakes and having picnics in the park. The local nature is unique and amazing, striking in its extraordinary beauty and picturesqueness. The total area of the park is about 30 hectares. On its territory there are more than two dozen lakes, twenty caves and over a hundred waterfalls. This area is also famous for its beech and coniferous forests, in which wild animals live, including bears, wolves, rare birds, etc.

This fabulous building is one of the most beautiful not only in Europe but throughout the world. The majestic building was erected by order of Ludwig II of Bavaria. The high towers of the romantic castle are surrounded by forest on the hill of the Alps. The road to the castle lies along a serpentine. Translated from German into Russian, Neuschwanstein sounds like “New Swan Stone”. The architectural structure is made in neo-gothic style. Its height is 135 meters. Most of the majestic building is made of marble. The castle looks no less fascinating from the inside. Every element of Neuschwanstein has a sense of luxury. 1. Rocks of Meteora (Greece)
