10 outings to do with baby during the summer

With a toddler, we sometimes fear venturing into new territory. Baby loves to discover new places, new sensations. And just because he won’t remember it doesn’t mean that it’s not beneficial.

1. The educational farm

There is bound to be one near you. The opportunity to see the farm animals up close, to touch them, but also to pick up fruits and vegetables yourself. A day full of discoveries!

2. L’aquarium

Baby is still too small to put on a mask and snorkel, but he will marvel at the illuminated display cases filled with multicolored fish.

3. Bring it to baby swimming

You never found the time to go there during the year, now is the time! In addition, it is much more fun to go swimming when it’s hot outside.

4. Bike rides

Baby sit? So we go buy a bicycle seat, a helmet, and we offer him a good breath of fresh air and lots of sensations (and it’s good for your thighs)!

5. Go to the game library

Enough to occupy a day that promises to be too long. In addition, you can chat with other young parents.

6. See street performances

Locking yourself in a theater is still a bit ambitious. But in the great outdoors, you can easily escape when baby starts to get impatient.

7. Take a nature walk

Sitting in a baby carrier designed for nature walks, little wolf is in heaven, and the parents’ backs are almost preserved. Add a picnic in the grass and a nap under the mosquito net to the board, and you’ve got a perfect day.

8. Go to the museum

Don’t think he’s too small to appreciate art. Walking among colorful canvases, giant sculptures or bizarre modern installations will be a delight for baby’s eyes. Of course, we should not hope to scrutinize each work for 10 minutes …

9. Children’s festivals

In summer, toddlers are spoiled for choice in terms of festivities: circus, dance, puppet shows… there is something for all ages, even for the little ones. Find out what is happening near you, or where you are vacationing.

10. The river

The temperature is more bearable there than at the beach, and there is no fear that baby will get sand in his eyes. Put on her little water shoes to soak her feet in the cool water, and get the camera ready to capture her reaction.
