Introducing the top ten of the best.

1st place – Spanish pintxos from San Sebastian

The authors of the guide suggest that you open the pintxos for an evening stroll through the bars of San Sebastian after a fiesta or a trip to the beach. The guide recommends choosing pintxos with asparagus, anchovies, or mushrooms stewed in garlic sauce.

2nd place – curry laksa soup from Kuala Lampur

Spicy curry laksa soup is traditionally made with rice noodles, bean sprouts and shrimp, chicken or tofu cheese.

Travelers are advised to choose the street tent / kiosk with the longest queue, find a free plastic chair, sit comfortably on it and start eating – greedily, sipping and scalding. But be careful – what is simply spicy for the locals can be fiery and spicy for a tourist!

3rd place – Tokyo sushi

In Tokyo, travelers are encouraged not to rush, not to grab sushi with chopsticks and toss them straight into their mouths to satisfy their hunger. In the capital of Japan, you must first talk to the chef and learn all the intricacies of the ancient culinary art and etiquette associated with serving and eating.

4th place – beef brisket from Texas

Brisket is a piece of brisket, or rather a cut of beef, consisting of the pectoralis major and minor, removed from the ribs. It is all permeated with collagen, which, when cooked for a long time in a smoker, makes this cut of beef unusually juicy and tender. Brisket literally breaks down into fibers, giving an incredibly tasty sensation.

5th place – som tam salad from Bangkok

Traditional Thai spicy green papaya salad with sweet and sour sauce. Sometimes local eggplants are added to the salad, considering them to be performers of bitter taste.

6th place – smorrebrods from Copenhagen

The favorite food of Danes and many other Scandinavians is an open sandwich, most often on rye bread with a rich and abundant filling. Smorrebrods are eaten in Copenhagen for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

7th place – crayfish from Kaikora

For lovers of seafood, a visit to Kaikura is a must, because freshly caught local crayfish are beyond praise.

8th place – Seoul bibimbap

If you combine rice with seasonal vegetables, eggs and meat in one plate, you get the most popular South Korean dish – almost a constructor that each Seoul restaurant makes at its discretion. The name of the dish is translated from Korean as “mixed rice”. Bibimbap can be served hot or cold.

9th place – pizza margarita from Naples

Thanks to quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods, there is no better place to enjoy this classic pizza than in Margarita’s homeland of Naples.
