«Diary of a basketball playeris an American feature film based on the autobiographical novel by Jim Carroll. Jim is 16 years old, he loves basketball and writes beautiful poetry. He also likes drugs, Carroll’s friends share this passion. It all started rather “harmlessly”: glue, “laughing” pills, powder. They soon became slaves to heroin.
