Undeservedly accused of killing his wife and her lover Andy Dufresne, a good half of the film causes only pity. He sits for nothing, is subjected to violence by some prisoners, although it is clear that this person does not belong here.
However, in the course of the development of the plot, it is not so much Dufresne himself that changes, but the audience’s attitude towards him. You begin to notice that eternal peace, humility and peacefulness are by no means due to weakness of spirit and fear of conflicts, but because of great inner strength. This power allows him to survive in a strange environment for himself and make a brilliant “trick with his ears”, leaving all skeptics and ill-wishers with his nose.

The protagonist of the drama “In Front of the Class” is a young teacher who sincerely loves his profession, but is experiencing problems with employment due to Tourette’s syndrome. This disease scares away the principals of most schools, as they do not know how a person with such a disease will be able to teach.
After going through many unsuccessful interviews and getting rejected over and over again, Brad Cohen finally gets his chance and uses it to the fullest. He clearly shows how to live with such an unpleasant illness and not pay attention to the sympathy and misunderstanding of society.
The film, by the way, is based on a true story, so the protagonist’s persistence is not at all an invention of the screenwriters.

The protagonist of Ridley Scott’s cult peplum was the best commander of the Roman Empire, as well as a happy father and husband. Having suddenly lost both his position and his family, which was brutally murdered, he becomes a fighting dog for the amusement of the public, performing in the arena of the Colosseum.
You cannot envy his fate, but you can endlessly admire his courage and nobility, for which the crowd begins to idolize him.
