The TNT TV channel, according to the data at the end of 2018, ranks 6th in popularity among Russian TV channels. The popularity of TNT is easily explained: the channel constantly pleases the audience with new TV projects, and the old ones do not lose their relevance.
We will talk about the most popular shows produced on TNT. And this list will include not only “oldies” that have won the hearts of viewers for many years, but also very young shows that beat all possible ratings of the channel.
10 Studio Soyuz
A humorous musical program that was released in 2017 and managed to win the love of the TNT viewer. The hosts of the show are former KVN players from the team of the same name. Two guests are invited to the program, who must pass music competitions in the gameplay.
For example, to guess which modern song was covered in the old Russian manner. Or add missing words to an absurd song lyrics. Or guess who owns the line “I have never played GTA” – a rapper or a politician (the phrase, by the way, was said by Navalny).
The program is even suitable for family viewing: there are no vulgar jokes or aggression in it, besides, the viewer can play some song contests together with the participants of the show, just cover the prompts with answers that pop up on the screen.
9. Slaughter league
The show, which aired from 2007 to 2010 and gave us such famous comedians as Ruslan Bely, Denis Kosyakov, Ilya Sobolev (performed in the duet “Beautiful”), Anton Ivanov and Alexei Smirnov (duet “Cattle”), Eduard Matsaberidze, Stas Starovoitov , Dmitry Romanov and many others.
Indeed, many modern and familiar comedians came out of the walls of the Killer League, at one time the ratings of this show went off scale. Despite the late show time (from 23:00 to 00:30), the program came out on top in terms of viewing among all major Russian TV channels.
After the Killer League, the projects Killer Evening and Killer Night followed. “Nights” began immediately after the “League”, and went to the box office until 01:30. The best comedians from the Killer League took part in this program and the show also had high ratings.
8. The fight of extrasensories
The show has been on the air since 2007, so far it has 19 seasons, and an additional offshoot “Psychics are investigating” has appeared, in which the best psychics from the “Battle” take part.
The program has an elimination plot: the first half of the series, the participants are tested using their psychic abilities, and at the end of the release, the pre-vote host kicks out one of the weakest participants.
Of course, the media often criticize this show, because after it a huge number of scammers and charlatans appeared. But the program comes out every year without interruption, sometimes even releasing two seasons with a break between them of just a month.
7. Comedy battle
A comedy show aimed at finding new Russian-speaking comedians. The host of the show is Pavel Volya, the permanent members of the jury are Semyon Slepakov and Garik Martirosyan, the place of the third jury member is taken by an invited guest.
Selection tests are held in three stages, each of which eliminates weak participants. The winners of the “Comedy battle” received a resident place in the “Comedy club” program, however, in the new season of 2019, participants can choose absolutely any show of the humorous genre on TNT, in which they can become participants after winning the battle.
6. Improvisation
The show, which has been on screens since 2016 and still does not lose its relevance. As they say on TNT itself: “Improvisation is the only show without a script.”
Indeed, 4 program participants come up with jokes on the go, relying on the power of their improvisation. The host – Pavel Volya – asks the guys unusual situations that they must act out. The main condition for improvisations, of course, is to make the audience laugh.
The first improvisation in the release usually takes place without a guest, acting as a warm-up for the participants in the program. For the rest of the improvisations, an invited guest joins the program: not only TNT channel employees, but also many major Internet bloggers visited the show.
5. Dancing
The show has been on screens since 2014 and within the framework of this program, participants compete for the title of the best dancer in the country and a cash prize. The program completely changed the attitude towards dance as a job and a serious professional activity in our country.
Young guys perform in front of famous Russian choreographers – Yegor Druzhinin and Miguel – in the hope of getting into the team with one of the mentors.
The challenge for the dancers is not only to please the jury members, but also to capture the hearts of the viewers. Each week, one contestant is eliminated from the show with the lowest number of viewership votes.
From season 4, Tatyana Denisova joined the permanent members of the jury, and Sergey Svetlakov most often takes the place of the invited guest.
4. Stand Up
Russian comedy show hosted by Ruslan Bely. Comedians in the stand-up genre perform in the program, that is, in the format of a monologue, one participant goes on stage and talks about some actual problem with humor and irony.
The show has been released since 2013, but its ratings are not falling, and there are more and more new comedians. Since the beginning of 2017, the Open Microphone project began to appear on TNT, this is a kind of “Comedy battle” in the world of stand-up. The winners of the “Open Microphone” have a chance to perform on the stage of the TNT Stand Up and become one of the main residents of the show.
3. Bachelor
The show premiered in 2013, and the new season will be released in the spring of 2019. Each bachelor is an unmarried, rich and famous man, and the participants must be of age and with good external data. During the show, the bachelor goes on dates with the girls, and in the finale chooses between the two remaining participants.
The bachelor of the first season was the famous football player Evgeny Levchenko. In the second season, Maxim Chernyavsky came to look for a bride. Also on the show as bachelors came Alexei Vorobyov, Ilya Glinnikov (actor of the series “Interns”), Timur Batrutdinov and Yegor Creed.
2. Comedy club
The show has been broadcast on the channel since 2005, new residents appeared from KVN until 2014. Comedians known to all Russian-speaking viewers take part in the program – Pavel Volya, Alexander Revva, Garik Kharlamov, Timur Batrutdinov, Garik Martirosyan, Marina Kravets, Sergey Gorelikov and many others.
As part of the show, there are also musical groups, such as Lips, USB, Nestroy Band, as well as a musical stage character – Eduard Severe.
The residents of the show make films according to their scripts, playing roles in the films themselves. The most famous films released under the Comedy Club Production logo are 3 parts of The Best Movie.
1. House 2
The Dom 2 project started in 2003 and is still broadcast in prime time on TNT. In the first season, the participants of the show built a house, which was supposed to play out among couples in love with the help of audience voting.
Initially, the hosts of the show were Ksenia Sobchak and Ksenia Borodina, but after Sobchak left, Olga Buzova, who was a participant in the show in one of the first seasons, took the chair as the host.
On the project, the couple is still “building” love, for which the show is heavily criticized. He was even sued, demanding a ban on showing a program about family scandals in the daytime. After that, “House 2” was released only in the evening and at night, but when the court case was reviewed, the show was again broadcast in the daytime.
