Everything is simple. In our childhood there was no Internet, there was not even a computer. The only entertainment was the TV, but even he was not always happy. Programs about politics, serials about the police, films about love – all this was not interesting for the children. They were attracted by entertainment programs, competitions, humorous and musical TV shows.
If you now ask any adult what TV show he remembers from childhood, he will definitely name at least a couple of programs. True, some of them are not designed for children at all, but if the parents did not forbid, why not?

10 Guess the melody
A musical television game where players were asked to guess songs by the sound of several notes. “Guess the melody” is the latest project of Vladislav Listyev. Several candidates applied for the role of presenter, but subsequently all of them refused.
Then Valdis Pelsh was offered to host the TV show. Already in March 1995, filming began, but the first two games failed, the presenter did not cope with the duties assigned to him.
Soon, Pelsh felt freer, and already in April 1995, viewers of the ORT television channel saw the TV game for the first time.
For almost 4 years, the game was popular with the audience, but it had to be closed due to disagreements with the copyright holder. A few years later, the show was resumed, but the ratings were no longer so high.
9. Fort Boyard
For some time, the French Fort Boyard was shown on the NTV channel. In 1998, they decided to film the Russian version of the TV show.
The first three issues were trial, the channel’s employees participated. Tests in the cells, adventures, the mysteries of Elder Fur – the audience could not tear themselves away from the screens, the program was so exciting. The whole family watched it. That’s just where it all ended.
The NTV channel had problems, they no longer began to shoot new releases of the program.
In 2002, the program began to be released on the Russia channel, then it was still interesting to the audience.
Fort Boyard was released again in 2013, but most viewers were not satisfied. They believed that “the new” Fort Boyard “is in many ways inferior to the” old “. The rules of the game have changed, the leaders have been replaced.
8. Mouth baby
For the first time, they learned about the transfer in September 1992. This is an intelligent program. Participants are several pairs of adults (usually husband and wife). The host invites them to guess the hidden word.

7. Town
In 1993, viewers of the RTR channel got acquainted with a new humorous program. Presenters – Ilya Oleinikov and Yuri Stoyanov. The first issues are dramatizations of anecdotes. Later, each program was devoted to a specific event or topic. The humor was on top, however, some jokes were not intended for children’s ears. All the same, this TV show was loved by both children and adults.
The final song of Angelica Varum “Gorodok” will remain forever in my memory. Later, the program was renamed, it became known as “In the Town”. By the way, this program is one of the few that were shown abroad.
6. Under 16 and over…
This TV show began to be shown back in the days of the Soviet Union in 1983. It discussed the main youth problems: family relationships, homelessness, drug addiction.
Over time, the transmission format has changed. Plots, interviews, new headings appeared, after a while they were replaced by others. The program was considered youthful, but absolutely everyone watched it.
In 2001, the project was closed, the organizers considered it obsolete. Indeed, at this time, many other worthy programs appeared and the ratings of “Under 16 and over …” dropped significantly.
5. call of the jungle
The program began to be broadcast in 1993 on the Ostankino TV channel, since 1995 on ORT. They closed it in 2002.
“Call of the Jungle” is an analogue of “Merry Starts”. Two teams “predators” and “herbivores” competed for the prize. They had to go through many trials.
Children climbed ropes, climbed high mountains. If the team of “herbivores” won the competition, they were thrown a banana (of course, fake), when the “predators” – a bone.
The team that won the most points won. All the girls and boys dreamed of being in the “jungle”.
4. Your own director
The first issue was released in 1992 on the RTR channel, hosted by Alexei Lysenkov. The program broadcast amateur videos that were filmed by ordinary people. Then among them they chose the best, the funniest, the funniest.
The winners were invited to the studio, they shared the story of the video and received gifts. Stories about animals, children, some funny, others not so much – the audience still loved this show. Particularly popular was the rubric “Are you weak?”.

3. morning Star
The program has been broadcast on Channel One since 1991. Musical competition, children of different age groups competed. The talents of the participants were evaluated by the jury team. In each competition – two participants, the winner went to the second round.
Many stars began their creative journey precisely on the “Morning Star”. Sergey Lazarev, Anni Lorak, Alsou, Zara, the list goes on for a long time.
This program was the only chance for talented children to somehow express themselves. At that time there were no such projects. Closed “Morning Star” in 2003.
2. Pun
Entertainment. First appeared on screens in 1996 on ORT. The program consisted of several humorous headings: Bar Pun, Steep Pique, Iron Kaput. Separately, it is worth noting the “Village of Fools”.
All viewers loved to watch these funny stories. The characters of “Pun” did not speak, but the audience understood everything without words.
No one paid attention to the fact that many jokes are not intended for children. The program often showed a satire on alcoholism, an unhealthy lifestyle. In 2001 the project was closed.

Children’s program, first aired on the Ostankino channel in 1992. Another project by Vladislav Listyev. This is an intellectual competition.
6 teams took part in the game. Usually the team was a schoolboy with his parents. In some issues, parents were replaced by friends or classmates.
