All successful careerists share their memories of how difficult and lengthy the process of climbing Mount Fortune was. For a person who wants to get out of the shackles of modern slavery and who has decided to become the master of life himself, sometimes there is not enough courage to take the first cherished step towards a dream.
Many dabble in books, others surround themselves with more successful “advisers,” and still others draw inspiration from films. Cinematography offers the viewer truly vital and instructive films about how to become a brilliant entrepreneur from a petty swindler, how to become the owner of a corporation from a person without a residence, or how to use only a computer to achieve a goal.
Below we will consider a successful selection of films in which the main characters demonstrate the height of determination, ingenuity and perseverance, which helps them somehow fulfill the main ideas of their lives.
10 Guys with guns | 2016
The plot demonstrates the friendship of two Americans who were able to promote the Pentagon for a mind-blowing contract of 300 lyam, under which weapons were supplied to the army.
The light and laid-back comedic atmosphere does not hide the competent presentation of the material. The film emphasizes the theme of colossal opportunities that need to be implemented in a timely and competent manner. Aspiring entrepreneurs will learn a lot for themselves – these are fresh ideas, an investment plan and the ability to manage money, as well as maneuver between a stream of competitors. The film also teaches how to work within a limited budget, which is important for young businessmen. The film clearly shows what a “dead” niche is, teaches how to abandon an unprofitable idea in time in a crisis.
9. Wolf of Wall Street | year 2013
Watching the game of DiCaprio is always a pleasure – no matter what film you take, the actor successfully plays the role of a rogue, a petty thief or an ambitious entrepreneur. But not in this movie. This time, the actor got the solid role of the enterprising and young Jordan Belfort, who, having first entered the Wall Street business district, dreams of gaining untold wealth. He turns to the local business shark for help, carefully absorbing effective tips for achieving success. Further, Jordan gets a job in a company that goes bankrupt, but this does not stop the young boy. His talent once again finds use in a pair with a funny friend Donnie Azoff. By acting in a coordinated way, young entrepreneurs take their own business to the world level, which leads Jordan to the cover of Forbes. By the way, the events of the film took place in real life.
8. Aviator | 2004
And again Leo demonstrates an excellent game, showing the fate of the great inventor, director and very rich man Howard Hughes.

At the same time, the guy is rushing to Hollywood with a fascinating film about the action of fighter pilots in the First World War. After receiving the necessary funding, the film massively gathers viewers, which provides Howard with a solid box office. Her entrepreneur also launches a business for the invention and testing of supernova aircraft.
Further, the plot of the film develops no less interesting – Hughes receives a state order for the invention of a reconnaissance aircraft for official purposes during the American war. The latter, however, ends ahead of schedule, so the aircraft were never delivered.
7. In pursuit of happiness | 2006
Few people do not know this heartbreaking story starring Will Smith. His character, Chris Gardner, single-handedly raises his preschool son, hoping to provide him with a happy childhood.
A man believes in his product, so he invests all the money for its implementation. Sales fail, resulting in the loss of not only money and home, but also the spouse.
Then Chris starts a new life with a job as a salesman, which does not allow him to pay for housing and leads to eviction from a miserable little room. While on the street, the father gets an unpaid intern position in a brokerage firm, in the dream of developing into a specialist in the future (in six months). And at the end of all the thorns and trials, Chris still gets this one and only position in the company. The prototype of the character is a real person.
6. Founder | 2016
The film tells about Ray Kroc, who once gave the world such a famous brand as McDonald’s.
It is known that by his fiftieth birthday, Krok managed to change several professions. At the beginning of the film, he also appears as a not-so-successful mixer salesman. Further along the path of Ray, the McDonald brothers meet, who order the supply of mixers and, along the way, introduce the unfortunate seller to the idea of fast food. Ray Kroc, intrigued by the opportunity, dreams of spreading the brand throughout America and then reaching global consumers.

5. Frozen from Miami | year 2009
We all know that successful plans always require sacrifices, be it time, family, money or vitality. In some cases, cruel sacrifices and the need to go “over the heads” is the only way to ascend.

Having got acquainted with local hard workers, the conscientious Lucy does not dare to fulfill the plan. Well, it is necessary to independently try to restore the reputation and financial stability of the company without mass layoffs. The film interestingly shows alternative possibilities for solving problems.
4. The Devil Wears Prada | 2006
Working in a modern and ultra-popular fashion publication is the dream of every girl, but not Andrea. The provincial girl graduated from the university to write about serious things, but by the will of fate she gets to the position of one of the many assistants to the editor-in-chief of the publication. Despotic Miranda harasses Andrea, along the way, in a hidden form, giving her practical advice on how to achieve success. Over time, Andy realizes that the end goal does not always justify the means, and that climbing “over the heads” is alien to her soul, especially when it comes to destroying the hopes of her own friends and loved one.
3. The Thomas Crown Affair | 1999

In parallel, there is an investigation branch in which the insurer Katherine cooperates with the police to catch a brazen thief. The woman rubs herself into the confidence of Thomas, suspecting him of theft, but having no evidence base. The relationship between them, according to her plan, was to betray Tom sooner or later. But the smart and enterprising Crown himself instantly figured out Katherine and manipulates her to his advantage. And yet, the development of mutual sympathy leads to the fact that Thomas and Katie are entangled in a double game.
2. Social network | 2010
Modern youth will be interested in watching this film, as it tells about the path of becoming a millionaire Zuckerberg – a young man who created and implemented the concept of Facebook. Of course, the film is a distant projection of Mark’s true rise to fame, as he claims in the interview.
Nevertheless, the film, which won Oscars and Golden Globes, interestingly shows the business at all its stages, from the planning and implementation of the concept, to the global capture of a unique niche with simply crazy income.
1. Oil | 2007
The plot of the film is quite simple. At the end of the 19th century, Denis Plainview expects to find gold and silver mines in California. He also keeps thoughts in his head about possible oil fields that could bring him crazy opportunities. For 30 years, a man cherishes a dream and still finds a place of deposits of “liquid gold”, however, not entirely honestly, having deceived the Sunday family. However, after many years, the viewer does not get acquainted with a billionaire, which would be natural, but with a homeless drunkard. This is the intrigue of the plot.
Analyzing the above films, each viewer will be able to draw a conclusion about when and how to implement their ideas. He will also assess whether success and wealth should always be exchanged for a piece of the soul and a fraction of conscience, all all actions sooner or later lead to consequences.
