It was possible to achieve such changes for the better thanks to the installation of gas cleaning equipment at enterprises and the conversion of most plants to natural gas. One of the problems facing Petrozavodsk most acutely is the negative impact of municipal solid waste due to the lack of well-established disposal measures. Another urgent problem of the city is the high level of pollution of river waters.
6. Naberezhnye Chelny
Naberezhnye Chelny belongs to the cleanest cities in Russia from an environmental point of view. 2. Kostroma
Kostroma recognized as one of the most environmentally friendly areas in Russia. This is due to the fact that in the city there was a gradation of many industrial enterprises. The second important factor of cleanliness is the presence of a large number of forest plantations that provide residents with clean air.
