How many years of warranty?

The manufacturer gives year of warranty for all automatic washing machines (SMA) – such a date is established by the current legislation of the Russian Federation. For technology, you can get additional 10 year warranty – on the motors of washing machines.

The manufacturer offers customers an extended NEFF service. To do this, you need to issue a certificate of the program. Then the owners of the SMA are entitled to a two-year free service in the post-warranty period – after the expiration of one year. The program is valid only in Moscow and St. Petersburg (as well as in the Moscow and Leningrad regions).

You can purchase a certificate at any time – until the one-year warranty has ended. The cost of the certificate is approximately 2,5 thousand rubles per year and 3 thousand rubles for 2 years. The program starts immediately after the end of the factory warranty.

The manufacturer urges you to keep all the documents issued when purchasing NEFF equipment.

The company advises to trust the installation and connection of the device to the masters of authorized service centers. If the work is carried out incorrectly and if the SMA suffers, then the case will be non-warranty – the owner will have to fix the malfunctions at his own expense.

About the terms of warranty service

The manufacturer requires the user to:

  • Use the technique for its intended purpose. If the washing machine is used as a professional technique for commercial purposes, then its owner will lose the right to free service.
  • The owner of a faulty Neff washing machine, purchased less than a year ago, must provide a warranty card to the service – it must contain the date and serial number of the product.
  • Comply with the rules of operation. Any violation of the rules set forth in the instructions will result in the denial of warranty service.
  • The type plate must be present on the product – it must be maintained throughout the entire service life.
  • Household AGR cannot be used for business purposes.

If the service department determines that the failure was caused by a violation of the rules of operation after the product has been sold, free services will not be provided. Who or what exactly spoiled the device – the owner, a private master, a power surge in the network or a natural disaster, the user is still responsible for this. And the repair in this case will be paid.

Do not think that if your washing machine breaks down before the age of one, then the manufacturer is obliged to repair it for free, there are many reasons due to which you may be refused. Actions or situations that may cause a denial:

  • The device was transported in violation of the rules of transportation.
  • The rules of storage and operation were violated.
  • Someone repaired, interfered with the design of the SMA. Only authorized service centers are authorized to do so.
  • The device was damaged as a result of a natural disaster – flood, fire, other natural and man-made disasters.
  • Ingress of foreign objects, rodents, insects, etc. into the device.
  • Instability of the parameters of the electrical network, which led to a breakdown.
