Then, you will only have to guide him a little so that he can concentrate on his breathing and manage, thanks to these small exercises, to relax well.

Sit cross-legged and tie your baby sling diagonally, tightening it enough so that it wraps around your back and knees like a little nest. Your child will be able to join this cocoon.

Also work on your balance by hugging him. From squatting and semi-kneeling positions, straighten up while holding Baby against you. For that, an arm under his buttocks, another which sticks it on your chest and you can finally unfold your legs, then go up the buttocks then tilt. All without rounding you off. These types of exercises will allow you to stretch and get to grips with everyday life calmly.

  • A stretching session when you wake up!

Oust, we get out of bed! Yes, but first, Baby stretches and not just any old way! Yawn, legs stretched out to the tips of the toes in a fan, head sunk into the mattress and chin tucked into the neck. Thus his chest opens and his belly is literally sucked under the effect of the stretch. When older, the child can even put himself in the cat position, a posture that yoga-loving parents know well: forearms on the mattress, knees bent and buttocks back (see illustration), which stretches perfectly as well the back, the head as the arms.

  • The position of the sphinx

When your baby starts to explore the world around him, he will start crawling! However, it is a complicated stretching exercise for him, because he has to drag a hell of a weight. It’s not easy to move forward when your pelvis and head are so heavy! But, Baby always gets there and that’s when he turns into a real little sphinx with hands and feet as suction cups to move around better.

  • Baby, sit on the buttocks

Warning ! No need to sit your baby down before his time otherwise it’s guaranteed to tumble! The sitting position should be natural and, therefore, come on its own. But when this step is taken, it’s magic! One thing is certain, your child will not practice doing the lotus, but will rather adopt the butterfly posture with the legs more or less bent and the feet together or that of the little Indian sitting with only one leg bent and the other stretched or folded forward. Thanks to these postures, your baby will be stable.

  • Yoga at bedtime

At bedtime, your toddler will be on his back with his spine completely flat and his arms will come to rest above his head. In this position, your child will stretch his belly and there, relaxation is guaranteed!
