Wine diet – lose 5 kilograms in 5 days

The average daily calorie content is 574 Kcal.

All diets (in particular the cabbage diet) necessarily require a complete rejection of alcohol and any alcoholic beverages during the diet period. There are three reasons for this:

First alcohol is a high-calorie substance and when taken, the daily calorie content rises to almost the usual rate.

Second in any case, the body is weakened during the period of the diet compared to the usual diet – and this weakening is further aggravated by alcohol.

Thirdly alcohol intake reduces a person’s volitional control over adherence to a diet for weight loss, and it is he who is the main reason for non-compliance with all recommendations of almost all diets, without exception.

These requirements practically exclude adherence to diets, the duration of which exceeds 2-3 weeks – a large number of holidays and all kinds of parties will cause the termination of the diet – some long-term diets provide for such a scenario (for example, nothing terrible will happen if within one day a person will not follow the highly effective Atkins diet) – but the vast majority of diets strongly reject this situation.

A pleasant exception from all diets was an effective and not excluding alcohol intake, but on the contrary his practicing wine diet – in it wine is the main active ingredient. It should be noted that the short duration of the wine diet does not have any effect on the body – except, of course, weight loss of up to 5 kg for the entire course of the diet – this value can vary for different people.

Like a number of other short-term diets, the wine diet imposes strict restrictions:

  1. on consumed carbohydrates – sugar is prohibited in any form (substitutes can be used)
  2. for the use of salt – food should not be salted. This restriction promotes the elimination of excess fluid from the body.
  3. for drinking – only wine and water – tea (both regular and green), coffee, natural juices, mineral water, etc. are prohibited.

All five days of the wine diet, the menu consists of the same products:

  • Breakfast consists of a tomato and a hard-boiled egg (or two quail, whichever is better).
  • The second optional breakfast (usually two hours later) is one apple (preferably green). Second breakfast can be skipped without prejudice.
  • Lunch consists of 200 grams of cottage cheese (the lowest fat content) and one fresh cucumber – do not add salt.
  • Only 200 grams of dry red wine is allowed for dinner. Moreover, it is uncritical when it is possible to drink wine in time – it is possible both in the morning and at lunchtime, or for dinner (the latter is preferable).

As in the chocolate diet, during all 5 days of the wine diet, you can drink ordinary water without restrictions – non-mineralized and non-carbonated. Some options for a wine diet from professional nutritionists suggest replacing cottage cheese with low-fat varieties of cheese in the same amount (200 grams) with an increase in the duration of the diet to 7-8 days – part of the cheese (150 grams) for lunch, the second part (50 grams) for dinner ( in addition to wine). This option will lead to more weight loss than the usual diet, with the same initial weight loss due to excretion of excess fluid. In both variants, you can choose absolutely any dry red (rose) wine – for example, Isabella, Muscat, Cabernet, Merlot and many others are perfect.

This is the main plus a wine diet consists in the ability to urgently lose 5 kg in a short time – although part of the weight will be lost due to the withdrawal of fluid (mainly on the first day of the diet). Second advantage the wine diet is reflected in its name – the use of wine does not interfere with the diet regime – it is convenient to carry it out during the holidays with alcoholic beverages (which excludes the observance of other diets – for example, the Japanese diet completely excludes alcohol). Moreover, it should be noted that in the overwhelming majority of cases, it is during the holidays that excessive weight gain occurs – and here you will not only not get better, but rather lose weight – but you need to mentally prepare yourself for the feast first. Third plus the wine diet is due to the rejection of salt for the period of adherence to the diet – the metabolism is normalized, the body simultaneously gets rid of toxins and toxins. Fourth advantage is a consequence of the use of red wine – in small doses, it has a beneficial effect on the circulatory system, heart and vascular system.

Disadvantages of a wine diet characterized by its low total calorie content in combination with alcohol (albeit in small doses) – albeit for a short period (5-8 days) – which causes increased requirements for the general health of a person following this diet – prior consultation with a doctor may be required. Second flaw The wine diet is due to the prohibition of salt intake – which causes the excretion of excess fluid from the body – this loss will also go into the overall results of the wine diet. These shortcomings determine a rather long period of repeated implementation of the wine diet, which, like the strawberry diet, is two months (for comparison, the repeated implementation of an effective buckwheat diet is possible in a month).
