What to eat in front of the TV

It doesn’t matter why you still don’t get rid of the habit of eating in front of TVs, it is important to minimize the consequences on the way of getting rid of it, because food in front of the TV is uncontrollable in terms of quantity and quality. Remember what you can eat while looking at the blue screen.

Fruits and berries

Fruits and berries contain healthy fiber, vitamins and minerals, as well as water, which quickly saturates the body, and then is also easily excreted without damaging the volume. Make a fruit plate, try to cut everything smaller – so psychologically you “eat” faster.

The berries will give you vivacity and tone. Choose according to your taste and enjoy a healthy snack.

Vegetables

Of course, eating vegetables is usually not very appetizing. But if you cut them into strips and season with yoghurt sauce – sweet or salty – it will be unusual and delicious. Vegetables contain a lot of vitamins and healthy fiber – take celery, carrots, cucumbers.

You can make chips from vegetables by drying chopped carrots or potatoes in the oven or microwave. There is no fat and salty spices in such chips, so they will come out many times more useful than purchased ones.

Spiced croutons

Home-made croutons or croutons as an alternative to store-bought ones. Of course, an ordinary loaf is not the most useful product. For these purposes, choose whole grain or bran bread. You can fry croutons with or without healthy olive oil. Use your favorite seasonings – herbs, vegetables, salt or sugar, garlic.

Bruschetta

Italians know a lot about food, and their bruschetta for a snack is another confirmation of this. This is a slice of bread, toasted on both sides like a toast until crisp. The ingredients for the sandwich are laid out on the bread – prefer healthy ham, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, basil, avocado. Use healthy bread for the base.

Nuts and Granola

Despite the fact that you can’t eat a lot of nuts, and it’s hard to keep track of the amount eaten while watching TV, you still need to dilute a snack with them – this is an additional portion of protein, vitamins and minerals.

Granola is an oven-dried oatmeal, nuts and dried fruit that can be combined into bars or eaten like this.
