Vegetarianism or unlimited food? Omnivores and 8 more main food systems

All people can be conditionally divided into 9 groups:

1. Omnivorous – eat everything, without any prohibitions. Such people are also called. Of course, we are not talking now about allergies to certain foods, diabetes and other diseases that require a nutritional review.

2. Pescetarians – eat everything except meat and poultry.

3. Vegetariantsы – definitely do not eat meat, poultry and fish. They are divided into three groups: 4, 5, and 6 points.

4. Lacto-ovo-vegetariancy – allow themselves dairy products and eggs.

5. Ovo-vegetariancy – eat eggs, but exclude dairy products from the diet.

6. Lacto-vegetarians – a counterweight to the previous category. They eat dairy products, but exclude eggs from the meal.

7. Vegans – do not eat anything animal. Only cereals, vegetables, fruits, berries, sprouts, nuts. Not everyone eats honey – only bigany… Most vegans have restrictions on honey as well.

8. The Fructorians – refusal of protein foods. They eat only raw fruits of plants, do not eat leaves and roots of plants.

9. Raw foodists – usually they are vegetarians who practice the prohibition of thermal processing of products.

Choose the right food system for yourself, but remember – it does not matter what you call yourself, the main thing is that what you eat brings joy. Then you will feel great, full of vitality and optimism.

According to a survey on the eve of the Milan exhibition, there are 375 million vegetarians in the world today. In Europe, adherents of such a diet are about 10% of the population, in the USA – 11%, and in India – 31%. No wonder before the appearance of the term “vegetarianism” such a food system was called “” (or “” in honor of the original and flamboyant vegetarian).
