Taking as inspiration the flavors of traditional sweets such as amaretti, cantuccini, marzipan and walnut biscotti … flavors that will take you to traditional Italian pastries.

Damien Seijas, one of the most important baristas in Spain and an expert on the premium coffee brand, gives us the keys and 3 recipes to prepare the best premium coffees this Christmas with the new varieties:

Capuccino Amamisu

Ingredients: Variations Italia Amaretti Flavor Capsules; 100ml of cold whipping cream; 5ml of almond syrup, one ounce of dark chocolate; 100 mk of semi-skimmed milk; cocoa powder and boudoir biscuit.

Preparation: Place the ounce of dark chocolate and 5 ml of almond syrup in the cup and prepare the Variations Italia Amaretti Flavor capsule on top. Add the cold milk to the jug, choose the “Cappuccino” option on your machine. Add half of the hot milk foam over the whipped cream. Sprinkle some cocoa powder and garnish with a boudoir cookie.

Nocciole cake with bicerin

Ingredients: Variations Italia Capsule Nocciole Flavor Cake; 6 ounces of dark chocolate; 20ml of semi-skimmed milk; avallena powder and cocoa powder

Preparation: Add 6 ounces of dark chocolate to the pitcher. Add 60 ml of cream and 20 ml of milk to the jug. Close the lid and choose the “Hot Chocolate” option on your machine. Add the mixture evenly in two cups. Prepare the Variations Italia Torta di Nocciole Flavor capsule over the mixture and stir with a spoon. Add 100 ml of cream and choose the “Espresso con Panna” option. Using a non-metallic spoon, scoop up and add the whipped cream on top of the coffee, and sprinkle a little freshly grated hazelnut and cocoa powder on top.

Negroni coffee

Ingredients: One Ristretto capsule; 6 ice cubes; 20 ml Italian red bitter; 50 ml of tonic and fresh orange.

Preparation: Add 3 ice cubes to a pitcher. Prepare the II Cafè capsule and pour it over the ice. Close the lid, choose the “Iced Nitro” option on your machine. Add 3 ice cubes and a fresh orange slice to another glass, add 20 ml of Italian red bitter and 50 ml of tonic. Stir the iced coffee on top and add the fresh orange peel to the glass for garnish.
