Forget about expensive gifts and bouquets of roses. As it turned out, a partner can show his best side, just not paying attention to the spoiled makeup.
Sometimes a little thing can tell about strong feelings better than diamonds and expensive restaurants. American Emily Tedford was convinced of this from her own experience.
Emily and Brandon met recently and went on a date to an amusement park to have fun and get to know each other better. In the park, Emily put on a mask, and she ruined her bright makeup: the girl did not notice that her lipstick was smeared. Her friend didn’t say anything to her. She only found out about the make-up failure after watching a video she filmed on the ride.
Luckily, Emily has a great sense of humor and made a funny TikTok video to make her followers laugh.
People commenting on the video were divided into two camps. Some criticized the man, others admired him. An angry part of the audience was interested — «Why didn’t he say anything?» — and accused the man: “It’s ugly to do this. I saw that something was wrong with the lipstick, and did not say anything.
But the guy also had defenders. They reassured Emily: “Maybe he just didn’t notice or he didn’t care at all.” They assured that the girl, apparently, met a wonderful person.
In an attempt to dissuade the naysayers, Emily shared a conversation with Brandon, after which many agreed that he was sweet and polite and decided that she should meet him again. Explaining his behavior, Brandon wrote: “In fact, I noticed that the lipstick was a little smeared, but did not attach any importance to this, because I did not see anything terrible in it. You were wonderful. I hope you don’t hate me for not telling you anything.»
After such a statement, many decided that Emily should hold on to Brandon.

This is how a small setback became the beginning of a happy and instructive story. After all, sometimes we worry too much about appearance. We want to impress another, especially if we have just met him. We care about how we make up, what we dressed up in, how we look. We have complexes because of weight, hair color and a thousand other little things that really do not solve anything at all.
The truth is that if he likes you, he doesn’t care what your makeup is, whether you did it at all and what you are wearing. He doesn’t care about your cellulite and badly styled hair. A lover sees the best in us, appreciates our personality, and not a perfectly applied lipstick. So if a man after the first date criticizes your appearance, you are definitely not on your way. And if the arrow on pantyhose and flowing mascara do not bother him, then agree to a second date — something worthwhile can come out of this.
