Stress helps you be happy

We burn at work, and chronic stress becomes a faithful companion of our life … Is everything so negative?

Most of us consider stress as an unfavorable and even dangerous factor for health. But often it is stress that mobilizes our creative forces, gives life dynamism and sharpness. This is evidenced by research data from one of the world’s largest recruiting agencies, Kelly Services.

It follows from them that 60% of Russians regularly experience stress at work, while answering the question “Are you happy at work?” 50% of the same respondents answer in the affirmative. And the most happy – 80% – among workers who do not leave their offices for more than 42 hours a week. 70% say that work has a positive effect on their personal lives.

The agency compared the data obtained with similar surveys in other European countries. And the results were very similar! Among the inhabitants of Norway and Sweden, 70% of workaholics were found to be satisfied with their work. At the same time, Norwegians are only 5% behind Russians in terms of stress levels. Swedes are more unflappable: only 30% of them experience stress at work.
