Souvenirs with a surprise: what not to bring from trips

1. Shells

In addition to the fact that in many countries the export of shells and corals is prohibited by law (for example, in Egypt, for this you can get a fine of a thousand dollars or six months in prison), shells carry the energy of death of their owners. True, there is a nuance here. If you didn’t buy a skeleton of a mollusk in the market, where they are sold mostly beautiful and boiled, but you yourself found it on the beach, take a closer look at the shell. If everything indicates that the owner safely left his house himself, then such a little thing will not bring harm.

2. Masks

This is not about Venetian carnival decorations made in China, but about old African “attacking” masks, or their copies. Especially those who took part in various rituals and those that were pierced with nails. Such things are usually charged with evil. Looking at such masks, or playing with them, you can disrupt the energy of the body. Children are especially vulnerable, as their subtle body is the easiest to damage. Moreover, the sorcerers assure that the suffering of a person will not stop, even if the mask is then thrown away.

3. Coins and banknotes

It’s amazing, but contrary to popular belief that a souvenir coin is good luck, drawn money and stamped “tourist” coins can cause imminent poverty. There is a widespread belief that a figurine of a toad or a cobra will help financial stability much more.

4. Stones from holy places

By no means! Such things have a strong energy of the world of the dead and are a kind of portal to another world. Even decorative shrines can mystically influence the well-being of their owners. It is like bringing a cross or a mourning wreath from the cemetery into the house.

5. Paintings depicting wild animals

Paintings with grinning muzzles of wild animals create nervousness, aggressiveness and negativity in household relationships. The same applies to figurines in the form of aggressive animals. They can provoke disputes and scandals. Ideally, do not keep images at home that cause eye discomfort, as this disturbs our peace of mind.

6. Weapons

Each sword, blade or knife has a sacred meaning. Such souvenirs often lead to the destruction of a person’s destiny. In general, antiques of obscure origin should be treated with caution. Especially those who took part in various wars.

7. Exotic animals.

Among tourists there are those who are eager to settle an exotic animal at home, be it an iguana or a Madagascar cockroach. We hasten to upset you: these animals are likely to die, unable to withstand sudden climate change. In addition, they can carry any tropical disease.

Take home a minimum of things

Try to leave at the resort everything that you will not need at home. The first is local money. Spend everything without a trace if you are not sure that you will return to the country at least in a year. And even then you can forget where you put the currency. And if, nevertheless, something is left by chance, then it is better to donate these banknotes to international charitable organizations. Also leave everything that you spoiled during the holidays. So, it is unlikely that you will still need a soiled dress or a stretched T-shirt, a used toothbrush, the remains of creams and shampoos, open packs of edible products. Take home a minimum of things, a maximum of impressions!
