Small dog for a small apartment

There are many decorative dogs that can share a small living space with their owner. We offer you five of the most popular breeds:

· Yorkshire Terrier (popularly – York): cute little dogs up to 20-25 cm tall and weighing up to 3 kg originally from Great Britain. Kind and sweet, unpretentious in food and care. They have a strong independent character and in winter they need clothes, as they are very cold;

· Toy Terrier. His name is translated as “toy” for a reason, they really resemble a clockwork toy puppy. Height – up to 25 cm, weight – up to 2,5 kg. It does not require special care, but it needs a walk. It is necessary to follow the eyes of this baby, they are susceptible to diseases;

· Pug. Dogs of average height and weight (up to 35 cm and 10 kg). Charming and friendly, very active. If you decide to have a pug puppy, keep in mind that he constantly needs a company. For this he is ready to give his attention and playful mood;

· Pekingese – the dog of the Chinese emperors. A soft and fluffy ball of joy adapts well to living in an apartment, he is friendly and obedient. The only significant drawback: you have to take care of the coat and often vacuum in the apartment;

· Dachshund. This breed was developed in Germany. There are two types of dachshunds: ordinary and dwarf. For keeping in an apartment, it is better to opt for the second option. These interesting and very intelligent dogs have small stature, but great charm. They need walking, they love to dig holes in the street, as this is a hunting breed, bred specifically for catching various game in burrows.
