  • if the drain handle often remains in a position that allows leakage in the toilet, replace it;
  • dripping tap. One leaking tap, from which 30 drops per minute drips, wastes 311 liters per day. That’s 27 full baths a year;
  • do not rinse the laundry under the tap, it is better to put some rinse water into the bathroom;
  • When regulating the water for the bathroom, first block the drain, and then turn on the water. You can adjust the temperature while the bathroom is being filled;

  • wash vegetables and fruits in a sink filled with water with the tap turned off. Save up to 10 liters of water a day;
  • do not use water to defrost meat products. You can defrost them by leaving them in the refrigerator overnight or using the microwave;
  • which “washer” is more cost-effective? Front-loading, of course. Front-loading machines require almost three times less water than their “vertical” counterparts;
  • use the shortest program best suited to your clothing or underwear. For example, if a delicate wash lasts 40 minutes and cottons are washed for 60 minutes, wash the bed linen in the delicate mode.
