Ingredients Cabbage “Nevskaya”

White cabbage 10000.0 (gram)
table salt 2.0 (table spoon)
honey 2.0 (table spoon)
dill 20.0 (gram)
Bay leaf 8.0 (piece)
pepper fragrant 10.0 (piece)
ground black pepper 10.0 (gram)
carrot 2000.0 (gram)
Method of preparation

Mix the chopped cabbage with finely chopped carrots and stuff it tightly into a 3 – liter container without salt, sprinkle it layer by layer with caraway seeds, dill, black pepper and allspice, bay leaf. Pour 2 tablespoons of salt on top and add water to the top. Place in a plate so that the brine does not spill during fermentation. Keep at room temperature for two days, piercing the mass to release fermentation gases. Drain the brine, add 2 tablespoons of honey, dissolve it in the brine, and pour the cabbage again. Put in the cold. After 2 hours, the cabbage is ready. It is good as a side dish for meat, fish, mushroom dishes, as well as for a carbohydrate table – with potatoes, bread.
