General description of the disease

 

Ureaplasma (ureaplasmosis) is an infectious disease of the genitourinary system, which is sexually transmitted. The causative agent is microorganisms under the identical name “ureaplasma”, which parasitizes on spermatozoa, leukocytes, epithelial cells of the urinary and respiratory organs. In total, three types of ureaplasma are distinguished (Ureaplasma spp, Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum T-960) and eleven serotypes that differ depending on the composition of the protein in the cell membrane.

Ureaplasma symptoms

A characteristic feature of this disease is that most often it can be asymptomatic, especially in women. In men, the following symptoms may appear: slight transparent discharge from the urethra, burning, pain at the time of urination, with damage to the parenchyma of the prostate gland, symptoms of prostatitis appear. Ureaplasmosis in women can manifest itself in the form of pain in the lower abdomen, transparent discharge from the genitals. In the event that infection with ureaplasmosis occurred through oral sexual contact, then symptoms of sore throat (sore throat, formation of purulent deposits on the tonsils) are possible.

There are no special requirements for the diet during the treatment of ureaplasma. It is worth adhering to the principles of rational nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, as well as limiting foods that are contraindicated in the use of antibiotics, which are part of the treatment system for ureaplasmosis. The diet aims to increase the body’s defenses and must contain the required amount of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, useful vitamins and minerals.

Such products include:

 
  • porridge (oatmeal, buckwheat), dark rice;
  • fresh vegetables in the form of salads;
  • seafood;
  • dairy products (especially goat milk and natural yogurt);
  • chicken meat (skinless chicken breast), fish (mackerel, salmon varieties), liver;
  • freshly squeezed fruit or vegetable juices;
  • rye and wheat bread;
  • soups;
  • vegetable oil (especially olive oil), ghee and butter for cooking;
  • fish fat;
  • pasta;
  • legumes and beans in the form of mashed potatoes;
  • fruits and berries (raw or cooked): pineapple, melon, grapes, apples, oranges, mangoes, orange grapefruit, lemons, pomegranates, blackberries, strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, figs;
  • vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, pumpkin, carrots, zucchini, seaweed, garlic, onions, yellow and red bell peppers, avocado) and leafy salads;
  • honey;
  • sauces (red, meat, mushroom, milk and egg, sour cream, tomato);
  • spices, seasonings (in limited quantities): turmeric, rosemary, cinnamon, oregano, thyme, hot pepper, ginger;
  • walnuts and hazelnuts, almonds, brazil nuts, macadamia, pecans;
  • dark chocolate;
  • sesame and flax seed;
  • tea, cocoa, natural black coffee with milk, rosehip broth.

Menu for one day during the treatment of ureaplasma

Early breakfast: scrambled eggs with grated cheese, apple salad, fresh cabbage seasoned with sour cream, milk oatmeal or low-fat cottage cheese, with natural yogurt and fresh berries, tea.

Late breakfast: tomato juice, cheese sandwich.

Dinner: borsch with sour cream, fried chicken with boiled rice, compote.

Afternoon snack: liver, rosehip broth or fruit juice.

Dinner: carrot puree, meat zrazy with onions and eggs, casserole with buckwheat cottage cheese, tea.

Before bedtime: kefir.

Folk remedies for ureaplasmosis

  • tincture of goldenrod (two tablespoons of herbs for two cups of boiling water, insist in a thermos for half an hour) take half a glass four times a day for three weeks;
  • tincture of borax uterus, winter-lover, wintergreen (10 g of a mixture of herbs for 3 cups of boiling water, boil over low heat for five minutes, insist for an hour in a warm place) use equal parts throughout the day (at least three weeks);
  • oak bark (two parts), badan root (one part), boron uterus (one part), Kuril tea (one part): 20 grams of collection for one glass of boiling water, simmer under a lid over low heat for 20 minutes, leave for two hours , use for external hygiene of the genital organs and douching.

Dangerous and harmful products with ureaplasma

Spicy foods, pickles, marinades, smoked meats, alcoholic beverages, butter sandwich, margarine and confectionery that contain it, saturated animal fats (beef tallow, lard), foods containing trans fats and high cholesterol.
