Walnut decorated with gold, paper chains, cotton balls, edible decorations – what a treat for the whole family! It is worth returning to this custom and making New Year’s decor on your own or with your children. How cozy the Toda home will become, how special!

Today we present to you an easy way to make Christmas trees from napkins.

To make a Christmas tree out of a paper napkin, you need green napkins. Before Christmas, you can buy them at any major store. Children can additionally decorate them with self-made stars from dough or plasticine. 

Do-it-yourself herringbone napkin

  1. Fold the corners of the napkin to create the peak of the Christmas tree.
  2. Bend the bottom of the napkin, as shown in the second photo – you get a stump
  3. Now fold the corner so that a small triangle forms. First on one side, and then on the other side. 
  4. Flip your napkin over. The Christmas tree is ready!
