Natural sweets: 5 recipes without sugar and eggs

 

To prepare sweets, you will need 150 g of the following ingredients: walnuts, dried apricots, raisins and prunes, as well as the zest of one orange. For the candy shell – 100 g of coconut, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, cocoa powder or chopped almonds.

The main components in the recipe are dried fruits, so it is important to know that they can be treated with sulfur dioxide as a preservative. To wash it off, you need to soak dried fruits in cold water, rinse them, and then pour boiling water over them to disinfect.

Now you can start. Take a blender and in turn grind nuts, raisins, prunes and dried apricots with grated orange peel to a state of puree. Mix the ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Roll into balls and roll in coconut, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, cocoa powder or almonds. Sweets can also be made in the shape of pyramids and decorated with large nuts or pomegranate seeds on top. You can also put whole almonds, hazelnuts or other nuts inside.

You will need: two bananas, 300 g dates, 400 g hercules, 100 g sunflower seeds and 150 g coconut. You can also add spices to taste.

Soak the dates in cold water for 2 hours, then grind them in a blender. Naturally, the dates should be pitted. Add bananas and grind until smooth. Then take a bowl of mixed cereal, seeds and coconut flakes, combine the dry mixture with a mass of dates and bananas. Put the resulting dough in a layer of 1,5 cm on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees, put a baking sheet in it for 10 minutes, the dough should brown.

Remove the baked dish from the oven, cut into rectangular bars and let them cool. Separate the bars from the paper and place in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to firm up.

To prepare the cake, you need 450 g of walnuts, 125 g of sweet raisins, 1 tsp. cinnamon, a small orange and 250 g of soft dates, and for cream – two bananas and a handful of dried apricots.

Rinse dates and raisins and soak for 1,5 hours in water so that they swell. Grind them in a blender along with nuts and put the resulting mass in a bowl. Add grated orange zest and squeeze orange juice there, add cinnamon and mix everything thoroughly. Then put on a dish and give the cake a round shape. Separately, grind bananas and dried apricots in a blender, carefully place the resulting cream on the cake.

The finished cake can and even needs to be decorated by sprinkling it with chocolate or coconut chips, laying raisins, grapes or pineapple slices on top. There are no limits in decorating, be creative, experiment! Finally, place the cake in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours: this should be done so that it becomes dense and easy to cut into pieces.

You need to take two glasses of flour, half a glass of oat or wheat flakes, 30 g of dried apricots, 30 g of raisins, 30 g of dried cherries, an apple, half a glass of grape juice, 1,5 tsp. baking powder and a spoonful of vegetable oil.

Cut the apple into cubes, rinse and soak the raisins for half an hour. In a separate container, pour the cereal over the juice and let stand for 5 minutes, then add the baking powder, apples, raisins, flour and butter. Grind everything in a blender and knead the dough until the consistency of sour cream. Adjust the consistency by adding either flour or grape juice. Add dried fruits to the dough and preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full with the resulting mass and place them in the oven for 20 minutes. Top with powdered sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon or other spices.

For the lean test, you will need 2 tbsp. wholemeal flour, 0,5 tbsp. cherries, 2 tbsp. honey, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil and about 6 tbsp. l. ice water.

Puree the pitted cherries in a blender until smooth. After sifting the flour, combine it with butter. Add cherry puree, honey and water: mix everything thoroughly until a dough forms. Divide it into two unequal parts. Wrap them in cling film and refrigerate for 40 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. For her, take fruits: bananas, apples, kiwi, cherries, currants, raspberries or blackberries. Any fruit is suitable, choose the one you like best.

Roll out a larger piece of chilled dough and place in a round shape, make sides. Put fruit on it and cover with a rolled out smaller piece, wrap the sides. Be sure to poke a few holes in the top. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees and place the cake in it for an hour. Take it out and decorate it as you wish. The finished cake should be allowed to cool, then put it in the refrigerator for 60 minutes – this way the flavors of the ingredients will better combine and the cake will be easier to cut.
