And do not go to the other extreme – do not try to avoid doctors: sores do not go away by themselves! Only summer passes. Work and sports save me: I run, swim, steam in a bathhouse, swim in an ice-hole – and I feel great!
Cinema is a well-thought-out illusion, staged by professionals and completed by artists. Therefore, the risk on the set is minimized. The other day your colleagues tortured me: “Tell us, what will your hero face in the new season? What was difficult on the set? ” I am puzzled by such questions. The series is filmed for that, so that viewers follow the twists and turns of the plot for two weeks. It is not worth putting all the “trump cards” on the table before the premiere. The audience cannot be lured by the script alone – it is important how we convey the relationship between the characters – Bragin and Narochinskaya, Bragin and Veronica …

In “Sklifosovsky” I was bribed by human destiny, that’s why I have been playing Bragin for the fourth season. Having said goodbye to Glukharev, I had to find a role that would make a new round in my acting destiny. And thank God that it happened! The audience was divided into three camps: those who love my work in the theater, who liked Glukharev, and who adore all my other works in cinema and on TV. One of the big compliments was made by Sergey Yuryevich Yursky, admitting that he is a fan of the TV series “Capercaillie”. Lyudmila Markovna Gurchenko was also very fond of Glukharev. If I see myself in the proposed role, I will give my best, if I don’t see myself, I will never do it.

The surname Bragin is loud and sonorous. I was recently offered a project, the main character of which is called … Bragin Oleg Mikhailovich. I asked again: “Doesn’t it bother you that I have been playing the surgeon Oleg Bragin for the fourth season?” In Russia, they wanted to shoot the series “Averin”, but the producers decided to change the name, because “Capercaillie” then thundered all over the country, and it was too shortsighted to call the series by my last name.
Sonya plays my daughter already in the third project, more precisely: this is the third project in which I am trying to adopt her! It all started with “Capercaillie”, in which she appeared as a child. I was shocked and fascinated by her performance. She reflected like an adult actress, even though she was seven or eight years old. I remembered her so well that when the question arose about the appearance of Bragin’s daughter in the script, I told the director Yulia Krasnova that there is only one girl who can play Veronica. Sonya was invited to audition and was soon approved for the role, since she was the most convincing. That this would happen, I did not doubt for a second. So I became the godfather in the profession for this talented girl!

Elena Alekseevna Yakovleva, who played Pavlova, belongs to the category of actresses, each role of which becomes a revelation. Yakovleva is one of my favorite actresses, I would definitely follow her work if I were an ordinary spectator. Also interesting is the story of Nina, our receptionist (she has long dreamed of a child and finally finds out that she is pregnant – approx. Woman’s Day). I am very sorry that Marina Mogilevskaya, who played Zimenskaya, is no longer in the project: Marina gave charm to our work. I adored and adore looking at her, while experiencing aesthetic pleasure. When the viewers of the Far East start watching the first episode of the fourth season on the Russia 1 channel, my colleagues and I will be filming one of the extreme scenes of the series. Everything was on this project: both good and bad, we quarreled and made peace. In several episodes I managed to try myself as a director. This is a kind of test of the pen – training before a full-fledged directorial debut!
