– Now in science there is a popular opinion that periodic abstinence from food prolongs the life of the cell. I agree with this and observe a food pause – Ekadashi (a day of austerity, falling on the eleventh day from the new moon and full moon). In a month I get 4-5 days without food. It gives me energy, and I feel how my body starts to work better. I feel good without food, but I understand that some people may have fear. But this is not a difficult process at all! It is hard to lay the sleepers and it is very easy not to work with the jaws. It is important to remember that there are medical indications against fasting. Do not do anything yourself without consulting a specialist. Collect information on food breaks first. And do not immediately think that you will not eat for three days, seven or even more, otherwise you will never dare. I understand that this sounds scary. But it all depends on why and how you do it. In principle, it can be some kind of fasting day once a week.

– I’m a coffee man. Coffee invigorates and cheers up. I drink a cup and realize that I will move mountains now. It’s not for nothing that caffeine is present even in pain-relieving pills. But everything is good in moderation, and in order for the effect to persist, it worked, you need to give up something sometimes. Measure should be in everything – I eat everything, but little by little. For example, for breakfast I can eat a croissant with chocolate, but not four, but one, and not every day. Plus, it is important that on this day there is physical activity and there is no hearty lunch later.

No need to torment yourself with low-fat products – this is, firstly, tasteless, and secondly, harmful. The female body definitely needs fats (butter, vegetable oils, fish, seeds, etc.), our body takes energy from fats, they are a source of essential fatty acids. Fats are responsible for the most important metabolic processes. No fat – hormones are not working properly!

– The vitamins we get from the pills is a mixed story. On the one hand, it is commercial: someone produces them and wants us to buy them, and they cost a lot. I am inclined to the point of view that the products that we eat and the land on which they are grown, the quality of milk, meat, the processing they undergo – all this is far from ideal. The ecology has changed not for the better, and the body needs support. I take vitamins E, D – in Moscow it is almost all low, vitamin C … But first I measure the level of vitamins in the blood: I take tests, I consult with a specialist.

– Of course, always being in a good mood is a diagnosis. I, like any person, have bad things. But you understand that these are certain rules of the game. I can’t come to you with a sluggish look, with a dull look, without strength. You came to the lecture to communicate, exchange emotions, and recharge. Now we have an established situation.

But when I come home, I am completely different – I can be just as joyful and cheerful, but it happens that and vice versa. How to deal with this? At the biochemical level, both sport and detox help – no matter how difficult the first days of fasting are, then after it you begin to perceive everything in a different light. We constantly invigorate ourselves with something: chocolate, coffee. And it helps for a short period. But we must think about the future – to reach a decent age in a normal state and keep the body in good shape is a constant job.

About energy and difficult situations

– Energy in our body comes not only from food. I’m not talking about solar energy or religious experience right now. There are many ways to get an energy charge: work, meeting people. It happens to me that after a performance I can hardly crawl home, and in the morning I wake up, and I have enough strength to run a marathon, then cook dinner and invite guests. And then sing in karaoke until the morning. And that’s all, because I get a lot of energy in the theater. I am fortunate to have many things that make me happy. I have wonderful friends whom I love and who love me. In general, I try to get joy in the moment, which I wish you too. In difficult situations, it is very important to try not to lose meaning and perspective. But in general, there is no universal recipe: what suits me does not necessarily suit you.

It is not dependence that is important, but interdependence. It is very important to be addicted to what you love. And so that the one or the one that loves you depends on you. This is not necessarily a relationship, it can be a love affair, it can be anything. I do not want freedom, I want to be not free from those people and things that I love.
