How long adzuki to cook?

After boiling, cook the azuki for 45 minutes over low heat, covered with a lid, with a low boil. Alternatively, you can soak the adzuki in the refrigerator overnight before cooking and cook for 20 minutes. Cook azuki in a double boiler for 1,5 hours.

How to cook adzuki

You will need – 1 glass of adzuki, 3 glasses of water

1. Rinse azuki and place in a saucepan.

2. Pour the adzuki with water in a ratio of 1: 3 – for 1 cup of adzuki 3 cups of water.

3. Place the pot of adzuki on a low heat and cover with a lid.

4. Let it boil and cook the adzuki for 45 minutes.

5. Drain the water through a colander, the adzuki is cooked.

 

How to cook adzuki in a double boiler

1. Put the adzuki into a steamer bowl.

2. Pour water into a steamer pot.

3. Switch on the steamer in working mode.

4. Cook the adzuki in a double boiler for 1,5 hours.
