Available everywhere, it is the best thirst quencher and is essential for the functioning of the body. What are we talking about? About plain water! No juices and drinks can replace what is so simple and at the same time perfect for health and beauty. Our body consists of as much as 70% of water – that’s why you should regularly supplement its deficiencies!
Water performs many important functions in the body. It helps to remove toxins from the body, improves digestion and excretion, regulates body temperature, moisturizes the eyes and skin. It seems to be barren, but it’s not true – without it, our energy drops, we feel much worse. Water is fuel for the body, which supports and conditions proper functioning.
Water is not fattening and helps to eliminate many problems
For everything to work efficiently, you should drink as much water as you lose in a day – usually that means eight glasses a day. It is worth taking care of proper hydration of the body not only for health reasons – deficiencies in hydration will be visible in the form of deterioration of the skin and fatigue.
Lack of water is one of the main causes of excessive dryness of the skin. Dry skin is more prone to irritation, but not only. Neglecting moisturizing from the inside also manifests itself in the form of other consequences that we would not attribute to insufficient hydration: rashes, irritations, eczema, allergies, skin changes.
When we drink enough, the skin is stronger and more elastic. Therefore, just as it is routine to rub the right cream or lotion into the body on the face, we should also take care of moisturizing the body from the inside, and we will quickly see positive effects.
What type of water to choose?
- It is best to reach for mineral water, because it has large amounts of minerals. Spring water is often worthless. Remember, however, that good mineral water is one that has 1000mg of minerals per liter,
- Pay attention to the presence of calcium and magnesium,
- If you have problems with contractions, drink water with magnesium (must contain more than 50g / liter),
- People who care about their kidneys should reach for low-mineralized water, i.e. containing less minerals than 500mg per liter,
- If you want to replenish water deficiencies in the body, drink water rich in sodium (more than 200mg per liter). It is not recommended for people with hypertension and heart disease,
- To regenerate muscles and the whole body, it is recommended to drink water with potassium, bicarbonates and magnesium.
