Fake foods that you don’t want to eat

Some of the products sold in our stores have nothing to do with the declared name. Their similarity to the name is achieved by the addition of many flavor enhancers and preservatives.

What products are counterfeit?

Chicken nuggets

In theory, this product should consist of finely chopped chicken fillet, boneless in breading. In fact, chicken nuggets contain only 40 percent, the rest are additives that mimic the structure of white meat. The dish itself is high in calories, plus these cutlets are fried in a large amount of oil, so there is nothing useful in nuggets.

Crab sticks

There is only the name of the crab in this product, although the taste and structure of the crab sticks are really close to the taste of seafood. Crab sticks are made from processed fillets of inexpensive fish, and the taste is achieved through a variety of food additives that are not very good for your body.

Klenovыy syrup

Maple syrup is considered to be a useful additive, because it is made on the basis of sugar maple juice. And this is true, which has nothing to do with the maple syrup that we sell. Fake fake syrup is made from corn and fructose, color and flavor are achieved using dyes and flavor enhancers. The crazy calorie content of this product does not in any way allow us to call such a syrup useful.

Wasabi

The wasabi sauce, which is served with Japanese cuisine, has nothing to do with the natural sauce, which is made from the root and leaves of the wasabi plant. The substance, accompanied by your sushi, is nothing more than horseradish and mustard, tinted green. Natural wasabi has a short shelf life and is not cheap.

Blueberry baked goods

You buy blueberry-filled muffins hoping to reap the full benefits of these healthy berries. In fact, blueberries are unavailable for most of the year and are unprofitable to use in baked goods. What passes for berries is a mixture of flour, palm oil, citric acid and a wide range of flavors and colors. Better buy raisin muffins – it’s hard to counterfeit.
