How many times have I heard from colleagues and acquaintances that with a smile I am both younger and more beautiful. But do I only consider open facial expressions an important decoration? Calling for help the collective mind of my good friends, beauties, successful girls and owners of charming smiles, I suggested inviting professionals for a virtual round table in the Ryazan women’s club. On the eve of the Day of the Dentist, we asked the specialists how a sweet smile, at will, turns into … a charming weapon.

People smile in different ways. I believe there are no people who would not go with a bright smile. But sometimes complexes interfere with us, including doubts about the beauty of a particular pose or facial expressions.
Photographer Katya Shestakova sees dozens of faces through the lens every week. Capturing important moments in life today is a trend, at weddings or anniversaries, decor and image are paramount. Only inner confidence cannot be corrected by any photo editor. A smile is a person’s calling card – the result of either heredity or serious work on oneself, preferably from childhood.
Today people of different ages come to me to correct their smile. Babies are led to form a bite. Correct, it affects the general health of the child, including posture. Teenagers, you will be surprised, are already telling their parents – let’s put on braces. Thanks to popular culture: stars, heroes of films and cartoons wear them, Western culture makes dental care the norm for us as well.
A modern orthodontist is the best friend of a cosmetologist
I was afraid of dentists as a child, when a trip to the clinic was planned for months, and women in unfriendly gowns, buttoned up tightly, looked sternly and stated: be patient!

It is difficult to say who is more afraid of the dentist: parents or children? A toothache in a baby – a panic in mom and dad. For a child, treatment in a modern dental office can be an exciting game.
Imagine yourself as a boy or girl about six years old. You go to the doctor, and you find yourself in … a fairy tale. In the truest sense of the word. On the walls of the foyer, there are hand-written heroes of your favorite books, instead of the names of the offices, there are plaques of houses of magical characters, you can draw, watch how a moray eel or a fish ball is fed in the aquariums of “Prime Dentistry”. The doctor shows you cartoons and even lets you play dentist himself. Isn’t that a miracle? The kid will grow up and will not guess that it can be painful to treat teeth …
We were the first in the city to open a private children’s department in the Soviet Army – a place with a special atmosphere and a special approach to young patients. Starting with safe diagnostics – a dental tomograph will allow a detailed examination with minimal impact on a young patient, ending with instrumentation, for example, children are treated without a drill using polymer burs and special children’s fillings.
Here they were the first to introduce an alternative to general anesthesia, but in a dream (sedation method) children are treated under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, which allows more complex cases to be treated calmly and without stress while the child is simply sleeping in the dentist’s chair.

I pay attention to the teeth of a person as much as to the eyes or to the hands. I trust more those who are not squeezed. And how to smile if you are embarrassed by your teeth, there is permanent pain in your gums and you should never go to the dentist? As a singer, I will tell you, especially the girls: donate a new handbag, bracelet, even a fur coat, if a beautiful healthy smile is at stake.
Donate or Invest? The work of a dentist costs money, but the reasons for this are very serious. The modern office is equipped with expensive X-ray machines, modern medical complexes, in addition to the main diploma, a good doctor has more than one certificate of additional training. For example, implantation, which allows you to practically regain a smile, is a serious and responsible operation, where a doctor should not have a chance of making a mistake.
A missing tooth is a serious problem. The quality of life and the image of a person suffers. At the same time, modern dentistry provides solutions. New teeth are not a luxury, but the result of the competent work of an implantologist.
Implantation, that is, the installation (implantation) of a dental implant is a breakthrough in modern dentistry, they say in the Ryazan Dental Implant Center, however, for a specialized clinic this is an ordinary operation. An implant made of pure titanium, i.e. a bioinert material, is implanted into the bone and serves as a support for the artificial tooth crown. By the way, it is the alloys that were once developed for the space industry that are now used in dentistry.

I often go abroad and pay attention to how attentive people there are to the attributes of health. For an even open smile, people go to dentists at any age. And it is beautiful teeth, not botox, that make the image significantly younger.
Today, when I know many dentists personally and see how far both science and service have gone, I vote for health.
An even bite, healthy gums, beautiful teeth are able to change the position of the facial muscles and fight nasolabial folds, tighten the facial contours and influence the aesthetics of the lips. By the way, if we talk about trends, then a modern dentist is a friend and colleague of a cosmetic surgeon!
Doctors are feared, especially dentists. Therefore, I conduct a direct and frank dialogue with patients:
– Confused by braces while smiling? Crooked teeth are even worse!
– Are you afraid of the price? Today in the assortment of dentists materials from different industries. We need to look for the optimal solution for each patient
– Pain? So there is no such thing in modern dentistry! There is discomfort that can be easily relieved with an anesthetic.
To work on the project, I looked through dozens of photos of friends on social networks. Among them are a pleasant number of brightly smiling beautiful people. There were also a lot of dentists. From which the conclusion is that we are all in the same boat, sailing for a vibrant eventful life, beauty and health.
