Eat, watch, rejoice: we are preparing snacks for fans together with Kenwood

The football World Cup invariably attracts everyone’s attention. True fans, forgetting about everything in the world, rush to the TV screens to watch the next match. Is it possible to leave home fans without treats? If you don’t have much time, and there is no desire to stand at the stove at all, the Kenwood kitchen machine will come to the rescue. With her fervent support, you will prepare excellent snacks for a large company that is hungry for bread and circuses.

Warm-up with balls

Crunchy croquettes from fans always go with a bang. We suggest using mashed potatoes as a basis. Cook it in record time will help the Kenwood kitchen machine with a heat-resistant glass blender nozzle. We boil 10 peeled medium potatoes, put them in a bowl together with 2-3 tablespoons of broth, without waiting for them to cool down, and whisk them into a homogeneous mass. The glass case calmly withstands the effects of high temperatures, and sharp stainless steel blades grind the ingredients to the desired consistency. Add 50 g of butter and 3 tablespoons of flour to the potatoes, punch again.

Next, we will have to chop 200 g of ham and hard cheese each. The dicing nozzle will turn the ham into beautiful neat small cubes in a matter of seconds. And we will rub the cheese just as quickly with a low-speed grater-slicer. You only need to choose a removable cutting drum with blades of the appropriate size. The smaller the cheese chips are, the tastier it will turn out.

We mix the potato mass, ham and cheese, cool it a little and with wet hands we make identical balls the size of a ping-pong ball. First, we dip them in a mixture of 3-4 beaten eggs, then carefully roll them in breadcrumbs. Fry the potato balls in a well-heated frying pan with a large amount of vegetable oil, then spread on a plate with a paper towel. Do not forget to serve an interesting sauce with potato croquettes.

Speaking of sauces. They will be useful for fans not only for croquettes, but also for chips, salted crackers, fried onion rings, chicken nuggets, fish sticks and other tasty snacks. We offer to make a universal salsa sauce that will organically complement any snacks.

Thoroughly wash 3-4 large fleshy tomatoes in water. We make cross-shaped incisions on the fruits, blanch them in boiling water for a couple of minutes, dip them in ice water and remove the skin. Now we need to grind the pulp, and for this we will use a food processor nozzle. Just a couple of seconds — and in a few seconds, a tender smooth puree will appear instead of tomatoes.

Next, you need to chop the red chili pepper, purple onion, 3-5 cloves of garlic and 7-8 sprigs of coriander as small as possible. The multi-grinder nozzle will perfectly cope with this task. The sharpest blades will instantly grind a small amount of products of different hardness. At the same time, the corrosive smell of garlic or chili pepper will not remain on your hands.

Combine together tomato puree, chopped onion, hot pepper, garlic and herbs, pepper and salt to taste. Be sure to add 2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice, preferably freshly squeezed. They will provide you with a citrus press nozzle. A rotating cone with ribs will squeeze every last drop out of half a citrus, and the bones will remain in a special fine sieve. Salsa is best served chilled, so put the sauce in the refrigerator until the guests arrive.

The game is based on the Mexican system

Any fan will be happy with a home quesadilla. Yes, and it’s easier to cook it. First, we cut a large onion and 3 colored sweet peppers into slices. Entrust this task to a high-speed nozzle-a vegetable cutter – and save a lot of time and effort. The cutting discs will chop the vegetables into slices of the desired thickness quickly and accurately.

In advance, boil 500 g of chicken fillet, cool in the refrigerator and cut into cubes. Here we will be helped by the already familiar nozzle for dicing. If desired, instead of chicken, you can take, for example, boiled beef. Fry the onion in a hot frying pan until transparent. Pour out the sweet pepper and continue to fry until it becomes soft. We put 250 ml of tomatoes in their own juice, knead with a spatula, add chicken fillet. We simmer the filling over low heat until it thickens, at the end we put salt and spices to taste. It can be paprika, ground chili, curry, granulated garlic.

We grate 250 g of hard cheese on a grater in an already proven way — using a low-speed grater-slicer. Only this time, take a cutting drum with larger blades. Rotating around its axis, it will grind the cheese much faster and better than a conventional grater. You will only have to collect the quesadilla.

We put the tortilla cake on a greased hot frying pan, sprinkle with grated cheese, spread a little filling in tomato sauce on one half. Cover it with the second half of the tortilla, press it on top with a wooden spatula and fry the tortilla until golden brown on both sides.

Pizza of the highest achievements

A large appetizing pizza is the best treat for watching a football match. The first thing we will do is the test. We dilute 1 tsp of dry yeast in 250 ml of warm water, add 1 tbsp of flour, 1 tsp of sugar, a pinch of salt and leave for 15-20 minutes.

When the sourdough is suitable, pour 50 ml of olive oil into it and gradually begin to pour 350 g of flour. In order not to knead the dough with your hands for a long and painful time, use the hook attachment for kneading the dough. Thanks to its thoughtful design and planetary rotation, it kneads a perfectly smooth, soft and elastic dough. At the last stage, we add 1-2 tsp of Provencal herbs to it.

Since our pizza is intended for fans, the filling should be meat. It is best to take several types of meat, such as smoked chicken, hunting sausages, salami. Choose the number and final composition at your discretion. All this cold cuts should be kept in the freezer for 10-15 minutes and chopped into slices. This means that we will again need a food processor nozzle. Only this time, take a cutting disc with coarse slicing — you will get even appetizing slices.

Next, you need to grate 200 g of mozzarella. A low-speed grater-slicer will cope with this work, as usual, perfectly. With chilled soft cheeses, she also copes perfectly. In this case, it is also better to choose a larger cut. Finally, we will cut 2-3 medium tomatoes into circles and 100 g of olives-rings.

We roll out the finished dough into a thin layer and put it on a baking sheet. We thickly lubricate the base with tomato paste, spread the meat ingredients in an even layer. We cover them with tomatoes and olives, sprinkle everything with grated cheese. Bake the pizza in the oven at 190°C for 10-15 minutes. Be sure to serve it hot until the cheese crust has had time to harden.

Championship series

Snack mini-pies with meat filling will also be a success. We start again with the test. We combine 300 ml of kefir, 50 g of the thickest sour cream, egg yolk, 40 ml of odorless vegetable oil, 1 tsp of baking powder and sugar, a pinch of salt in the bowl of the Kenwood kitchen machine. Our task is to beat all the components into a smooth, thick mass. The K-shaped mixing nozzle will brilliantly cope with this. It is designed in such a way that, rotating around its axis and at the same time in a circle, it constantly touches the walls and bottom of the bowl, due to which the ingredients are mixed perfectly and acquire the correct consistency. Without turning off the kitchen machine, pour 500 g of flour in small portions. Continuously rotating, the wide blades of the nozzle will not allow it to turn into lumps or settle to the bottom. You will get a tender soft dough that will need to be rolled into a ball and put in the refrigerator.

During this time, we will just make the filling. Let’s take 700-800 g of any meat, preferably beef and pork in equal proportions. A meat grinder attachment will help us turn it into the most tender juicy minced meat. We recommend using a grate with the smallest holes — it will give the minced meat a perfect consistency and grain. Together with the minced meat, we will pass the middle head of the onion through the meat grinder. After that, you need to fry the minced meat, seasoning with salt, black pepper or your favorite spices.

The finished dough is divided into two parts and rolled into large thin layers. Cut the dough into circles with a diameter of 6-8 cm. We spread 1 tsp of minced meat on half of the circles, cover it with the second half of the circles and use a fork to beautifully pinch the edges. Lubricate the mini-pies with yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds, send them to the oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes. Even in a cold form, the fans will award them the audience award.

Any football match will become even more interesting if a whole mountain of tasty snacks and snacks appears on the table in front of the TV. To arrange a real feast for the fans, the Kenwood car will help. All the painstaking and tedious work that takes a lot of time and effort from you is a couple of trifles for such a universal assistant. It easily copes with large volumes of products and large-scale tasks of any complexity. So you can easily please your family and friends with first-class football snacks, and at the same time show off your culinary talent.
